How to Fix ES Start Menu Crash

The Problem is the Overaly of Epic Games called “EOS”.

So I will explain step by step the solution:

1. Navigate to your installaton folder and find the executable of the game. Default path should be “C:\Program Files\Epic Games\BanishersGhostsofNewEden\NWD\Binaries\Win64\Banishers-Win64-Shipping.exe”
2. Create a shortcut of that executable.
3. Rightlick the shortcut and navigate to the “Shortcut” tab
4. There is a line called Target with a long path to the target executable.
5. Add “-epicportal” without the “” to the end of that target path and save.
6. Close and exit Epic Games store so that it is not running in the background.
7. Launch the game via the created Shortcut and now you will get past the “press any button” screen. Accept the Eula and change the setting to your likings.
8. When you are in the main menu, you can close the game and start it without any problems through the Epic Games Store.
