How to Obtain All Achievements

Heroes of Loot is roguelike dungeon crawler shoot-em up game. In this guide we will explain how to earn all achievements and give some tips on how to unlock the harder ones.

Notes

• Game saves at the start of each dungeon level, you can freely quit.
• There’s quite a bit of RNG involved with the achievements. visit the shop every time you get a chance and try to buy the items listed in the rng achievements section.
• Estimated 100% Time: 2-3h depending on RNG

Achievements

The hardest achievement in the game. You need to kill 5000 monsters in one playthrough. It should unlock at around dungeon level 45, but can vary due to the randomness of the game. If you die you need to start over, but luckily there’s a few tricks that can be used.

You can play as any of the classes but we personally did it with the Valkyrie, just take it slow and don’t rush into the enemies. always stay on the move to avoid getting hit.

• If you see that you’re about to die and hp is going down, quickly press ESC or RMB and simply quit from the game, after pressing play you can continue with your existing save which will place you in the same dungeon level but the level itself will be randomized and your HP fully restored.
• Another option is backing up your save every once in a while.
• Save is located in : C:UsersYour user.prefs
• Simply back up the dungeonsavedgame file and copy it back in case you died.

Slay 5000 monsters

These achievements should unlock naturally as you continue your journey through the dungeon, I believe I got maximum dungeon difficulty at around level 20~

This will be one of the first achievements you will get, there’s many caged lost souls around the game simply destroy a cage and it will unlock.

Save a lost soul

This enemy should appear as you progress through the dungeons and difficulty level increase. you will face many cyclops as you go for 5k kills.

Appears a bit later as the dungeon difficulty increases. there will be plenty to kill as you go for 5k kills.

Just keep going through the dungeons.

Reach level 15

• Reach dungeon level 15

Should come naturally as you progress through the dungeons killing enemies.

Can also buy exp scrolls from the shop to level up faster and find some scrolls inside secret hidden rooms.

Become level 10

This will unlock the moment you reach dungeon level 30.

RNG Achievements

Buy the cloak from the shop for 250 gold coins. the shop keeper only sells one random item at a time so you need to get lucky.

Or as you play the game you will notice some invisible blocks, to earn this achievement hug the wall to find the entrance and the achievement will unlock.

For this achievement you need to buy the lens of secret from the shop for 300 coins.

It’s totally random what the shop keeper sells each time so might take a while to get lucky.

• Get the “Lens of secret”

For this achievement you need to buy a titanium shield from the shop for 250 coins.

It’s totally random what the shop keeper sells each time so might take a while to get.

Drinking from a well requires two steps.

First you need to be lucky with the shop keeper selling the Cup of Life for 399 coins.

After buying the cup of life keep going through the dungeons and you should come across a well.

Stay near it until the bar is filled to earn the achievement.

As you go through the dungeons one floor may have a some buttons you can press to activate a statue. a cutscene should play before you reach the dungeon needed.

When you reach the dungeon, you need to quickly press on all the buttons scattered across the area, if you did it correctly a statue will appear.

If you earned the 5000 kills achievement and still miss it, keep quitting from the game and continuing with your existing save and eventually you should get inside a room with a statue.

Activate a statue

As you go through the dungeons one floor can end up being an “Arena room”. It should be a very small square room with just a few enemies. After killing them all the achievement will pop.

If you earned the 5000 kills achievement and still miss it, keep quitting from the game and continuing with your existing save and eventually you should get inside an arena room.
