A short guide with directions on how to get through the labyrinth maze and to the campfire to beat the minotaur for the “Blood of the Minotaur” quest.

Prepare

Prepare for Battle!

Before you go through this maze of a map and attempt to fight the minotaur, make sure you are leveled for the fight. You will have to maneuver through the labyrinth before and after the battle. The minotaur is level 58, so it is recommended you are at lEast that level with really good gear before you begin.

First things first: as soon as you enter the labyrinth, there is a pillar directly ahead of you with some pebbles and a torch on the ground ahead of it. Pick up the torch. This is needed to see to follow directions through the labyrinth, and I missed it at first and ended up stumbling around in the dark for an hour.

Above is a screenshot of the entrance you just walked through. This is the brightest the labyrinth gets without the torch; the rest is pitch blackness.

Above is a screenshot of the pillar right inside the entrance where you need to pick up the torch. Once you have the torch, equip it in your weapon slot. It does not expire, nor are there any enemies before the minotaur in the labyrinth for you to worry about switching weapons in order to fight, so you are now ready to start your lengthy trek through the maze.

Labyrinth Directions to Minotaur

Directions to Minotaur from Entrance

There is no map in the labyrinth. However, you still have your compass at the top center of the screen. I will use North, East, South, and West for these directions, which you can follow on the compass. The labyrinth has “blocks” that I will also refer to. Each block is separated by pillars in the center and separation panels on the walls. See the screenshot below. Each stretch of floor/walls between these pillars/panels is one block for the purposes of this guide. You may see forks in the road, but as long as you follow these directions exactly, you will find the minotaur.

Starting at Entrance

• Go North until you hit the wall.
• Turn East and walk until you hit the wall.
• Turn North. There is a fork here.
• Turn East, and walk until you hit the wall.
• Turn North. Walk until you hit the wall.
• Turn West. One block later, you hit a wall and should turn North. 8 blocks later, you will hit a wall.
• Turn West, hit the wall, turn North. In 4 blocks, there is a fork North/West, and you want to turn West. Hit the wall.
• Turn North. In 5 blocks, hit the wall, turn West. There is an immediate fork West/North. Go North. In one block, turn West. Go straight until you hit the wall, ignoring one fork.
• Turn North. Immediate turn West. 4 blocks later, turn South. Immediate turn West. Go 7 blocks forward, ignoring one fork, until you hit the wall.
• Turn South. Walk until the wall.
• Turn West. After one block, immediate turn South. In 6 blocks, turn East, immediate turn South, immediate turn West, immediate turn South. (You are essentially “turning a corner.”)
• After 4 blocks, turn East, ignoring the path ahead of you. Walk until you hit the wall 2 blocks later.
• Turn North. 7 blocks later, turn West. Immediate turn North, immediate turn East, immediate turn North. In 4 blocks, turn East. Hit the wall, turn South.
• In 6 blocks, turn East. Immediate turn South, walk until you hit the wall.
• Turn East. Immediate turn South, walk until you hit the wall in 6 blocks.
• Turn East. Ignoring the fork, keep walking for 5 blocks until you hit the wall.
• Turn South, immediate turn East.
• In 9 blocks, you’ll hit a wall. Turn North.
• In 3 blocks, turn West. Immediate turn North.
• In 8 blocks, turn West. One block later, turn North. Ignoring one fork, walk until you hit the wall (5 blocks).
• Turn West. 5 blocks later, turn South. In 3 blocks, turn East.
• 4 blocks later, turn South. Walk until you hit the wall (9 blocks).
• Turn West. In 3 blocks, turn North. Immediate turn East, immediate turn North.
• In 7 blocks, turn West. Ignoring one fork, keep going for 7 blocks until you hit the wall.
• Turn South. In 3 blocks, turn West. Immediate turn South, immediate turn East, immediate turn South.
• 4 blocks later, turn East.

You did it!

The campfire is two blocks ahead of you. Be sure to rest and save here. One block ahead of the campfire and to the right is the room where you’ll battle the minotaur.

After the Battle

Phew! Congratulations if you beat the minotaur! If you’re having trouble, I highly suggest leaving (using these directions, of course), and leveling up on Sykros, the Amazonian island (you can talk to the boatman to get there), and coming back.

Now, all that is left is to get out of this confusing place!

Directions Start at Campfire

• Head West until you hit the wall.
• Turn North. Walk until you hit the wall (4 blocks). Immediate turn West, immediate turn North, immediate turn East, immediate turn North.
• In 3 blocks, turn East.
• 7 blocks later, turn South. Walk until you hit the wall (7 blocks).
• Turn West. Immediate turn South. Immediate turn East at fork. Walk until wall.
• Turn North. Walk until you hit the wall (9 blocks).
• Turn West. In 4 blocks, hit the wall and turn North.
• In 3 blocks, turn East. Walk 5 blocks until the wall.
• Turn South. In 5 blocks, ignore the continuing South path ahead and turn East.
• Hit the wall, turn South. In 8 blocks, turn East. Immediate turn South.
• In 3 blocks, turn West. 9 blocks later, turn North. Immediate turn West. Ignoring one fork, turn North in 5 blocks.
• In 6 blocks, turn West. Immediate turn North.
• In 4 blocks, turn West. Immediate turn North.
• 6 blocks later, turn West. Immediate turn South.
• After 4 blocks, turn West. Immediate turn South. Immediate turn East. Immediate turn South.
• 7 blocks later (ignoring some forks), turn West.
• 3 blocks later, turn North at the wall.
• After 4 blocks, you’ll hit a wall. Turn East. Immediate turn North, immediate turn West, immediate turn North.
• 6 blocks later (ignoring one fork), turn East. Immediate turn North.
• 4 blocks later, turn East.
• In 7 blocks (ignore one fork), turn North. Immediate turn East. Walk until you hit the wall.
• Turn South. Immediate turn East. Ignore the fork and continue East for 7 blocks until you hit the wall.
• Turn South. Ignore the opening West and turn East. Immediate turn South.
• Walk forward for 5 blocks until you hit the wall. Turn East.
• Ignoring the North fork, turn South. In 4 blocks, turn East. Immediate turn South.
• Ignoring one fork, continue South for 8 blocks until you hit the wall. Turn East. Immediate turn South.
• 3 blocks later, turn West. In exactly 4 blocks, ignore the path ahead and take the South fork. Immediate turn West. In 4 blocks, turn South.
