DOOM – Developer Mode Fix

How to Disable Developer Mode in DOOM

Exit Doom when the bug has accrued.

Step 1: Go To C:/Users/You’re PC Folder Name/Saved Games/ID Software/Doom/.

Step 2: Save to desktop Folders named Generated/Temp/ Saved Games
DONT NOT SAVE THE PROFILE FOLDER then delete them in the Doom Archive by right clicking on the saved game folder you duplicated and delete.

Step 3: Go Back to C:/Users/You’re PC Folder Name/Saved Games/ID Software/Doom
Save folders to desktop named Base/Saved Games then delete them in the Doom Archive by right clicking on the saved game folder you duplicated and delete.
Once again do not save the profile folder!

Step 4: Verify Game Cache on Steam by Going to Library “select game Doom” Right click properties/ Tab 3 Verify game cache!

Step 5: After complete Load Doom Then click campaign And then exit.

Step 6: Go back to Go To C:/Users/You’re PC Folder Name/Saved Games/ID Software/Doom
Insert the saved game folders into the generated folders that you duplicated.

Step 7: Load Doom click campaign and you’re save will now be listed and unmarked as DEV MODE!
