Basics

Each faction has a relationship value. As the value goes up you gain buffs and as it goes down you get debuffs.

From what I can tell you get your buffs at relationship level 60, 80, and 90 for France and England and for the three other factions you get your boosts at 65 and 85

English

English Buff 1

Lining up for Work: Once per day, you can refresh the worker list for free.

English Buff 2

Tax Holidays: The tax collector will come half as often if the province is controlled by the English.

English Buff 3

Gifts from the Homeland The English sponsor the smithy. Every day, you receive a pouch of Gold.

English Debuff 1

Supply Issues: Englishmen turn away caravans heading for your province. Every day, some good in the store will be missing.

English Debuff 2

French Bootlicker: English craftsmen no longer want to work on your interiors. Changing interiors cost 50% more.

English Debuff 3

Enemy of the Crown: The English monarchy has declared you an enemy of the Crown. You no longer receive any prestige from fulfilling peasant, hunter, or merchant orders.

French

French Buff 1

Demand Extensions: You can postpone paying taxes for one day.

French Buff 2

Sixth Sense: Once per day, you can look through the stats of a potential worker free of charge.

French Buff 3

Strategic Value: French soldiers and knights pay an additional half for their orders

French Debuff 1

Dubious Work: The French claim you’re not paying your workers. You only have access to 1 worker hiring cell.

French Debuff 2

Nasty Rumors: The French are spreading nasty rumors about you. Every day, you lose 7 Prestige.

French Debuff 3

Foreign Agent: The French Monarchy has declared you a foreign agent. Prices for all goods in the shop are doubled.

Bandits

Bandit Buff 1

Scary People: Bandits intimidate the smith’s workers. You don’t need to pay for their work anymore.

Bandit Buff 2

Why So Handsome?: A bouncer who demands an additional 2 Gold from every merchant appears at the smithy.

Bandit Debuff 1

Pay the Racket: Every third day bandits come for their cut. And you can’t refuse.

Bandit Debuff 2

A Sucker Born Every Minute: You’ve been ostracized in the criminal underworld. There’s a 50 % chance that orders made without an advance won’t be paid for.

The Church

Church Buff 1

Servant of God: You are freed from English and French taxes in favor of the Holy Church. You will pay half as much tax a usual.

Church Buff 2

Alms for the Poor: A beggar, who demands an additional 2 coins from every soldier and knight, appears at the smithy.

Church Debuff 1

Bell Torture: Bells ring from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. Your charters don’t restore energy while sleeping.

Church Debuff 2

Anathema: You’ve been excommunicated from the Church. Soldiers, priests, and knights pay a third less for their orders.

Witches

Witch Buff 1

Thunder Strike Him Down!: You can strike the tax collector with lightning once every 4 days. Failing to pay taxes won’t affect your reputation in any way.

Witch Buff 2

Coin for Your Fortune!: A fortune teller, who demands an additional 2 gold from every peasant, appears near the forge.

Witch Debuff 1

Sabbath: Witches are holding sabbatts near the smithy. From 10 p.m. to 3 a.m., any cooked food instantly spoils.

Witch Debuff 2

Cursed Smithy: Witches have spread a rumor that your produce is cursed. Peasants and merchants pay a third less for their orders.
