This is an achievement guide for the Remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Very similar to the original game’s achievements, there is just 2 different ones. Easy enough to achieve all achievements.

How to Obtain All Achievements

Prologue
There is just one achievement in the prologue, as soon as you start the game.
Take a break
When you reach the platform where a lever needs to be pulled, go down a small path that leads to the beach until you reach as far as you can go. There is a pile of stones here, interact with them and you will start skipping stones.
Chapter 1
There are a few achievements in this chapter, some which are in the same section so make sure to do the first two achievements in order as follows or you may have to replay Chapter 1 to get them:
The first achievement is new to the Remake:
One last Game?
When you see the girl with the ball, approach her, get big brother to pick up the ball and shoot it in the basket. Don’t worry if you miss, you can try again. Make sure Big Brother is far away enough, when I was too close to the basket it kept dropping.
Wishing well
Directly after this achievement, get little brother to pick up the ball and put it in the well nearby. This will unlock the next achievement (Shame on you for making the girl cry).
Part 1 of the Achievement Love Birds
This achievement has two parts, the section will be in chapter 4.
As your walking down a path there will be a birdcage with a bird in it on the lefthand side: simply get little brother to free him by interacting with it.
Remember: the achievement will not be completed until Chapter 4, which will be discussed further in the guide.
Spin Me Around
When you come accross the bridge that little brother needs to run in to make it go down, there is sheep on the other side. Get big brother to carry a sheep and spin it around until he gets sick. This will unlock the new achievement exclusive to the remake.
Black Sheep
The next achievement is in the same section, Get big brother to pick up a sheep and go downhill with him to where you will see bunnies around a firepit. Simply drop the sheep in the fireplace (he won’t get hurt don’t worry) and it will turn him black.
Bunny Buddies
This achievement is similar to the above, get the white bunny and put in the fireplace to make him turn black as well.
Chapter 3
There is just one achievement here.
Falling Star
Once you are in the dark forest and have escaped the wolves you will reach a small graveyard. Go up the steps to the large statue and interact with little brother for a few seconds. A shooting star will be seen and you will unlock the achievement
Chapter 4
TW: Suicide attempt
A Sad Tune
At the beginning of the chapter, You will encounter a man who is about to hang himself, this achievement comes in two parts.
- Stop the man from committing suicide ( I was playing Co-op and got big brother to hold him up while little brother went up the ladder to cut the rope).
- Go behind the tree and go along the wooden bar to get into the burnt house, there is a gift at the very end. Simply pick it up, walk out through the house and give this to the man. (Note when I played it would only work when big brother gave him the gift, though this could have just been a glitch).
Windpipe
This achievement can be found after you help the inventor. Simply walk up the steps on the right where you will find loads of pipes, get big brother to push the horn until he hits the 5th pipe while little brother is on the lever. It will unlock when the Inventor dances.
Part two of love birds
This achievement is also unlocked at the Inventors house, go to the telescope interact with it and move it to the right and down until you see a bird. Fully zoom in and you should see the bird reunited with her lover.
Chapter 5
Only one achievement here.
Call of the Giants
As you walk through the dead bodies of giants, you will come to a giant crossbow. To the left of this there is a path leaving to a giant horn. Interact to blow in it, and you will unlock the achievement.
Chapter 6
Behind the curtain
After saving the girl you will be in a boat, you’ll see a large waterfall full of blood to your left. Aim to the side of this and enter the waterfall, where a cut scene will play and you will unlock this achievement.
Turtle Soup
After getting off the boat and walking for a while, you’ll see a giant turtle on the ice. Behind you there should be an area where 3 smaller ones are, get Big and Little brother to move them down until there is a small slip that leads back to the water. Once they are all reunited the achievement will unlock.
Whale Song
After reuniting with the girl and walking for a bit there will be a saw in a tree, simply ignore this and keep walking until you see the last bench of the game. Take a second to stop and relax. Don’t get up until the achievement unlocks and you see the whales jump up. This is the last achievement, the game is near the end. So sit back and enjoy it!

What parts of the game have been remade
- The remake features updated environments, high-quality rendering, completely remade landscapes and volumetric fog and lighting. New secrets have been added and additional lore to discover.
- Characters have been remodeled based on the original concept art and include a wide array of expressions, high-res textures and a completely new animations.
- Music has been re-recorded with a live orchestra to bring your adventure to all new heights.
- New achievements have been added.
How to unlock two new achievements?
You can read it above in this guide. But if you’re too lazy:
One last game
- You showed your little brother how it’s done
In chapter 1, in the scene with an old lady and a girl playing ball, throw the ball through the basketball hoop. (Maybe specifically as the big brother, I’m not sure.) Then you can throw the ball down the well for the Wishing well achievement.
Spin me around
- You make someone’s head spin too much
Later in chapter 1, in the scene with the rabbits and the sheep, there’s two achievements (Bunny buddies and Black sheep) that require you to put a rabbit and a sheep into the ashes of an old campfire to turn them black. While the big brother is carrying the sheep, make him rapidly spin in circles for a few seconds, and the sheep will throw up.
