Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle – Premium Stone/Ticket Guide

Guide to Premium Stones/Tickets

Start Dash DS

You bought the DS with IRL money so it really should be spent on the unit you yourself want the most. Quick descriptions for them are below and the general recommendation is still new units > dupes.

Kale & Caulifla

All their stacking makes them great for long events still, especially when you’re facing the certain enemies that allow them to guarantee additional SAs. Best on a team with U6/Joined Forces/PS allies to make the most of their ATK and will link well with practically any U6 girl. Crit>AA

SBA

Good linkset combined with his rainbow orb changing still makes him a great enabler for a lot of ki-hungry units while being very self-suffient himself. 18ki provides great debuffing while his 12ki gives him a good boost in DEF. Decent nuker as well. Crit>AA
Broly

Decent in SBR/ESBR thanks to his transformation’s damage which shreds through whatever is left on Turn 4. Otherwise, main drawback is that his DEF isn’t that great. EZA LR Broly’s best linking partner. Crit>AA

Godku

Good leaderskill for new players! Puts up decent performance thanks to his Dodge/Crit chance buffs for the first 7 turns. AA>Crit

Rosé

Can hit hard but know that he is also a very ki-hungry. Best partners are Support Vegeta or EZA Goku Black since they help him out with ki; otherwise he doesn’t have much else. Crit>AA

UI-SIgn

Still good in short events like SBR/ESBR thanks to his dodging and passive stacking. Note that EZA UI-Sign is comparable to him in overall performance since he isn’t bad either in short events and has the edge in long events thanks to his on-SA stacking. Crit>AA

Power Surge Choice Breakdown

New Units >>>> Dupes

Top Pick

Broly: Combining an incredible lead, a kit that makes him a stonewall against half of the enemies in the game, and massive damage, INT Broly is the full package for everything you want

Great Pick

  • Angel Golden Frieza: Good lead, absolute monster in most hard modes, insane utility, stacker, good links, and great partners. Fits everywhere
  • SSJ4 Gogeta: A unit that is at the power level of PHY AGF and INT Broly, but lacks the categories and Leader Skill to make the jump up. If you can run him, he will perform amazingly well with high damage, high defense, and a broken active

Niche Picks

  • SSBKK Goku: Leads a good teams with some of the best F2P units in the game. Higher skillcap due to specific style of play, but can be brought to almost any event other than Red Zone once you learn how to use him. If you use him like a regular unit, you will be disappointed. Should not be blindly picked by newer players
  • Janemba: One of the best straight tanks in the game, but requires above average orb management due to having 0 Ki links. Amazing for Corroded Body and Mind LGTE (which is the hardest long event run of the game) but hard for new players to use adequately.
  • Namek Goku: A unit that is basically all his lead. Leads one of the most broken teams in the game but is fairly mediocre besides. If you cannot run his team, do not pick him. Does have specific value for Connected Hope LGTE runs.
  • Exchange Buu: Good for Power Absorption LGTE and Majin Power LVE missions. Base form can survive with items thanks to innate DR, but is not amazing for SBR because of that, decent option for it though. Also singlehandedly crushes the SSJ4 EZAs
  • Gotenks: Awful leader, horrible base form, mediocre links. If you can get past all that, his SSJ3 form is broken beyond measure but you only see that turn 7, this specifically helps for Connected Hope LGTE
  • Trunks: Generic stacker. Essentially the TUR form of AGL LR Gohan.
  • Bardock: Generic stacker, even against Wicked Bloodline enemies he’s pretty mid.
