EA SPORTS WRC – Tips and Tricks the Game Doesn’t Tell You

I thought it’d be nice to compile a list of handy tricks that improve your rally experience.

Tips and Tricks

Сrеdit gоеs to GDUBMX!

  • End races instantly by hitting spectators or marshals with ‘time control braking’ off. This will incur no penalty.
  • Disable ‘start line assist’ for immediate starts during shake downs. No more waiting.
  • ‘Auto Transmission’ and ‘Auto Clutch Control’ are allowed in ‘No Assists’ clubs.
  • Disable ‘auto sign in’ for faster game boot (quickplay or career).
  • Disable ‘ghost sharing’ to hide your ghost during time trials.
  • Skip the loud EA intro by deleting the text in WRC_BootLogo.bk2 located in:
    • \EA SPORTS WRC\WRC\Content\Movies.
  • Make a backup before saving the empty file.
  • Crank handbrake force to highest for actual decent handbrake that works as intended. Default is complete dog feces.
  • If you go over a cliff/down a hill and suspect imminent terminal damage, hit pause button and reset to track to incur a small penalty as opposed to ending rally and restarting. Even with a penalty you’d likely still smoke the AI as they are horrendous
