How to get into friend lobby?
I found it’s easier to right click their name on Steam and press “join game” rather than search them on the game list. I remember Farm Together 1 had the friends lobbies show up at the top of the list, so maybe that’s missing from the game.
I‘m having an issue with finding my friends online at all
The “Friends” search needs your Steam profile to be public on order to work.

Watering the flowers doesn’t do anything?
They work a bit different. Instead of reducing the timer, when they fill another bar (with a trophy icon). When harvesting, the more filled is that meter, the more extra money they give when harvesting. Think of it like a ‘flower quality’ meter.
Tip about flat farms!
You can make any farm flat (or as you wish) when you unlock the terraforming tools!
How to unlock terraforming?
You need to place a shop in the town to unlock the feature. It’s the last shop currently available, unlocked at level 30. Terraforming unlocks at a high level.
Do we know how many “tiles” up we can do in terraforming?
I think there’s a hard cap on 10 levels of height (up or down) but remember that you need nearby tiles to be on a similar height, so if you have a tile on height 7, the surrounding tiles must be 7,8 or 9. The tile preview should point out which tiles are ‘blocking’ you from terraforming.
How to refuel the tractor?
It’ll refuel on its own over time. There’s also a fuel station you unlock to put onto your farm.
How to turn off the tractor going into automatic mode?
Automatic mode is activated by the sprint button (Shift / RT). If you don’t press it, it won’t start automatic mode.
Is automatic tractor work mode lossless?
Lossless, but since it automatically waters planted crops, it may use more fuel that if you did it manually and didn’t water them.
How to switch Always Run vs Hold to Run?
Go to Settings -> Controls -> Toggle Run (On /Off).
How to move lots of fences?
Currently the best way to act if you want to move lots of fences is to temporarily disable fence jumping in settings->game,so you can get really close without jumping over them.
Another way is to run into the fences at an angle, almost parallel to them and you can sprint while selecting them to move or recycle, without hopping over.
Crops and Weather
For now, weather effects don’t affect crops. This may change in the future.

Two options to solve this:
- Recycle and rebuild the garage.
- Skip the tutorial altogether in the pause menu.
