I’m making this guide with only 2 hours of playtime on the day of release, so there might be way better methods to be discovered.
Explanation
Enemies in this game do not stay dead and will keep dropping gold, therefore you can keep farming them.
This strategy can be used within the first 30 – 60 minutes of gameplay. The spot is located close to the first boss save statue.
What to Do
There are 2 bomb throwing goblins and one large goblin.
Killing the large goblin grants 20 gold. With consistent movement, I was able to get 100 gold per minute.
The “Fortune Cat” charm seems to randomly add some extra gold.
Jumping down and up the hole respawns him.
Saving Progress
Saving takes only few seconds since there is one save statue super close.
This way, you can easily farm gold and buy expensive items early on.
How do you cut down the vines in the game? they block off parts of the map
In the ghost castle you get an ability that will let you go through the vines.
An easier farm I’ve found later in the game is in the Fungal Forest, right at the save statue and teleport crystal. With the harpy feather and the butterfly hairpin buff, you can range the small mushroom, the brute mushroom, and the pig man from the area right above the bounce jelly in the zone below. Either have the magnet item or collect the coins manually, then drop down onto the bounce jelly, use the save statue to restore mana, and repeat.
To the guide creator: I’ve found that dashing between the big goblin near the two bomber goblins and the one near the city is faster in terms of coin gaining, the process of doing is slower but its an alternative way of getting coins which seems to be faster
What does the frilly panties exactly do? I can use the bomb just fine but what is this “zone” the panties mentions?
the “zone” is a vertical pillar of energy that you get a boost while being inside of
I see but when charging the ranged attack and then pressing the close range attack button after its fully charged, nothing seems to happen JKirlix
The Fortune Cat does work, but it seems to randomly add more coins (not a set amount)
