Mafia Clicker: City Builder – Beginners Guide

Basic Tips

Same Type:

  • 1×1 building needs 1 squares apart for no penalty
  • 2×1 building needs 2 squares apart for no penalty
  • 2×2 building needs 3 squares apart for no penalty
  • 2×4 building needs 4 squares apart for no penalty
  • 4×4 building needs 5 squares apart for no penalty

There is a out of time sync slow down “problem” with the game (atleast on my computer) = if I restart the game I can (depending for how long I have had the game up and running for) I can get the timer to correct it self to accurate real world time)

For me if the game is up and running for an hour = if i restart it the game time will jump forward say half a minute. (not exact that, but some time, havent checked exactly how much) as the game “clock” have been running slow compared to IRL time.

If you have the game up and running over night = you can “save” some build time or other count down timers like 5min when you restart the game.

(If you have like a 5min wait, try restart game to shorten that last wait if your game been running for a long time)

This is good to be aware of when dealing with mines/building/jobs and you can save yourself like 5 min here and there once a day or so when you have your game up and running for a long time.

All achivements are (basicly) unmissable. Just play the game and you will get them.

Early Game: First Area / Map

Begin with focusing on getting quick cash after unlocking everything step by step.

You can hardly do anything “wrong” (read; ineffective)

Use as often as possible to gain quick cash as the build time is so short compared to all the other.

Make sure to have enough.

“Total heat”.

Using:

Use the rest of “free” spaces as you see fit, just keep an eye on Total heat costs.

And make sure to have fun & totally ignore that there is a leaderboard in the game…..

Under:

Sidenote: A few hours of playtime will have you surprisingly high up on the leaderboard.

Skipable Tip: But Very Useful

And and lastly there is a trick when you are about to finish the first area/map that everyone should know.

If you have unlocked all slots in the “work” “GUILD section.

You can access something called “Foreign Cooperations”

That for +50% Heat (that is added to your “Heat”)

Gives you 1 skill point per crew memeber.

(Thats Alot)

The trick is that you save up some gold. say a million or so.

And then… “BURN” everything you have built, down….

Except your:

Thus having 0 in heat….

And 0 + 50% more heat…..= 0 heat….= You can “Skim” the game of free skill points for your crew…. for as long you want.

(This option was not available for me when I passed that part of the game)

But it is there now.

And get like 3-5 extra skill points on the crew members you use the most.

This will aid you tons later in the game. Do not bother with more as it is not needed.

Or you can just bypass this tip as it is not needed but its very very useful for clearing certain tasks later in the game.

Mid Game: 2nd Area / Map

This is where you learn to mine to unlock locked land and “harvest” / “use” water tiles.

Late Game: 3rd Area / Map Onward

This is where the game really begins to shine.

Where you have completly free reins right from the start of the area/map.

Extra Notes

The game score (on the leaderboard) is logarithmic.

The more “gold” you earn (while online) the less points for the score you are awarded for the same amount of income.

You earn a TON of easy points in start but less and less down the line.

Note!

This makes it look like you are not getting any score when you are offline (you arent getting points when off line)

But!

As it is counted per gold you earn while online thru “non boost means”….

The offline time (not getting any points) are only an illusion as the more you build your areas the more gold you earn while online.

And!

That in practice means being offline does not affect your score (seen over time) as long one keep building.

There will be an gold income increase with each new area that nullifies the offline non score.

(As you come come closer to end of each area your score will go down in speed.)

And you will have a burst score increase as you start a new area.
