Paleo Pines – A Dapplewood Dino Map & Info Table ft. MS Paint (Major Spoilers for All Dapplewood Dinosaurs)

Why’d I make this it took like 40 minutes and all it really does is save me time from reading the journal and searching the forest.

Dapplewood Dino Map Guide

Here’s a Map I Made Just Because

I decided to make a map for Dapplewood after getting lost multiple times and since there’s so many dinosaurs, might as well track where they are. Especially since there’s like 5 tiny dinosaurs that all look very similar. Originally that’s all the map was, tracking dino spawns, but because I was bored and made a couple of mistakes and my old map was getting very cluttered, I turned the map into an entire guide for their spawns AND their journal tabs.

It’s alright if nobody else finds this useful or think it ruins the fun of discovering new species (although I purposely omitted the friend calls just so the challenge isn’t totally destroyed), I just wasn’t sure where else to put it and maybe others could find it useful for tracking some dinosaurs. I tracked some special spawns as well that I will include as a separate piece and not part of the map. Here ya go.

Dapplewood Spawn Map

Note: Microraptor’s seasonal spawn might be incorrect, but so far I have only noticed it during Cretumnus after passing that area multiple times in previous seasons.

Some Extra/Special Spawns (That I Know of)

Coelophysis

Near Granny Agami’s farm, in between the two trees pictured on the map (Cretumnus Only)

Gallimimus

Next to the Kentrosaurus spawn (Black 2 w/ green number) Cretumnus Only)).

I found a mellanistic Gallimimus in this exact spot/the day I realized Gallimimus spawns here, but it is most likely a coincidence. Still, gotta have a ‘lil superstition once in a while.

Deinonychus, Troodon, Archaeopteryx & more

Where Deinocheirus normally spawns (Black 1 w/ red-green fade), Deinocheirus will not appear in Dapplewood if this event occurs (Heavy Rain Only).

  1. Hi, man, this is good job!
“I will document Veridian Valley once I find that one sneaky dinosaur that’s still missing in my journal.”
It’s probably one of those little dinosaurs I caught a glimpse of on the hill to the right of the ranch. Between the ranch and the road leading to the desert, there is also a table and a telescope. I won’t undertake to say, but it was in the spring at night or during the rain, I can’t remember now. It may well turn out to be a dinosaur from Ariacotta or Dapplewood.

Ps: I’m sorry if the translation is a bit wrong, I used a translator

    • That dinosaur between the desert and the ranch is probably Scelidosaurus, which can be found elsewhere during Jurassos. Even the wiki is missing the 13th Veridian dinosaur in the list, so it’s either a big mystery or part of the story. And it could’ve also been an Ariacotta or Dapplewood dino.

      • I will be glad if it helps. But he looked more like a bird with a long tail, they ran in a flock. I’m also waiting for spring to see who was hiding there)

        • That might be either Utahraptor (which can appear in the valley after opening Ariacotta canyon, but it’s a Jurassos spawn) or Troodon.

  2. I was looking for something like this.
At some point it get’s a bit overwhleming and way to much to remember where and under what circumstances which dinos are around.
    Well done, thank you!
