You awaken with a weird mask on your face and faint memory of an arcane ceremony in the ruins of the defunct Adal Empire. The mask, which protects you from hunger, thirst, and even death, was created by the Guides, the rulers of these realms, who have sent you here to see if you are worthy of joining the elite corps of Absolvers. You will learn new fighting methods, acquire weapons, gear, and armor, and form a team of warriors with whom to battle side by side in combat Arenas as you explore these abandoned lands, encountering other Prospects like you.
