.DLL Errors (126) [Fixed]

Here’s another fix for the .DLL Errors (126) the Pro N Edition of Windows, needed to install the media feature pack:

Settings -> apps -> optional features -> add an optional feature – view features -> media feature pack Issue was due to the N edition of windows and the fix was to install the media feature pack Branch Error Code (7830016): Ensure your Account / Email is the one which got access. Accounts need to be activated, a wrong account cant access the game/download.

.DLL Errors (126): Check the following Folder: Delta Force\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us

Search for an exe. named UE4PrereqSetup_x64 run it as an admin

ACE / 1-0-0 Errors: Do the following:

Press the Windows key and R at the same time. Type “services.msc” and press Enter. Look for “AntiCheatExpert Service” in the list. Check if it’s set to “Disabled”. If it is, change it to “Manual”. Then try to start your game.

If the problem continues, do the same steps for “AntiCheatExpert Protection”.

Empty Folder: Execute installer again as administrator. If launcher closes down, install again in the same path and directory. Kinda “overwrite” it.

I hope you found this helpful!

I love games and I live games. Video games are my passion, my hobby and my job. My experience with games started back in 1994 with the Metal Mutant game on ZX Spectrum computer. And since then, I’ve been playing on anything from consoles, to mobile devices. My first official job in the game industry started back in 2005, and I'm still doing what I love to do.

  1. Hi there, I try to play my first games, but I keep getting too many rollbacks and people just TP, which makes it impossible for me to move forward or shoot at bots. A friend who watches me live suggested that the reason I was lagging so much might be because there were so many bots.
I discovered something strange: when I scope, I don’t roll back, and when I sidewalk, it might be too slow for me to move on the map. However, it doesn’t alter the reality that static bots don’t perish from TP everywhere.

    • We refer to it as rubberbanding, mate.

Rollbacks involve restoring a server’s status and save game to a previous version. For example, after players take advantage of a bug to gain money and experience, EVERYONE’s characters will be reset to the last date before the exploit was used, and a fix will be implemented a few days later.

The location of your server, network connection, and yourself all affect your problem.

      • Thank you for the explanation. I usually play (insert most generic first-person shooter here) without any problems of this kind. Is it concerning that the game didn’t ask my firewall for anything when it first started, unlike other games that have done so?
Will lowering my settings help in any ways ?

        • Rubberbanding pertains to a problem with networks.

Depends on your location, the location of the game server, the speed and latency of your provider, and more.

They periodically test servers; in a way, this is pre-alpha.

  2. I’m having issues with V-sync. The game clearly has screen tares on my end without it, but when it is there, the game becomes extremely delayed. Navigating with the mouse and looking around suddenly becomes sluggish, similar to using a mouse with a very low acceleration setting.

Anyone with the same issue and a workaround?

    • With an Nvidia card, you ought to

      1. enable v-sync in the NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL.
      2. Disable V-sync in the game settings!
      3. Also enable Nvidia Reflex (in-game settings as well)

  3. Do bots exist in this game? With all the strange behavior, movement, and positioning I’m seeing, I feel like I’m fighting bots half the time. In BF2042, it was simple to identify the type and quantity of bots, but I don’t think I’m observing anything similar in this game. For whatever reason, getting 30 to 40+ kills on average without using a sniper feels incredibly unsatisfactory.
