The Witch’s House MV – Extra Mode

A simple and short guide for those that might be stuck somewhere on Extra Mode. Please note that this is not a complete walkthrough, but a means for you to progress without spending hours walking around in circles.

Witch’s Forest, Finding the Machete

Instead of being hidden at the end of the secret passage, the machete is now placed inside of the log, next to the starting point.

First Floor, Dealing with the Chef

After getting through the Bear part, take the bloody limbs from the drawer in the Scissors Room. Then head to the invisible cook and give him the bloody limbs. Be ready to escape, because after doing so, he will start chasing you with the knife. Run towards the Scissors Room.

After the chase head back in the Dining Room and interact with the fallen chair on the right. You will get the Silver Key. After that proceed as usual.

Second Floor, Display Room

First get the Yarn Ball, from the barrel in the Barrel Room. Head to the Glass Display Room, where the Butterfly Model is, hold up the Yarn Ball in front of the cat painting, and it will drop you a Rope.

After you obtain the Book of Death, head back to the Glass Display Room. Right of the cat painting there is a hole in the wall, where you’ll have to place the book. After that proceed as usual.

Third Floor, Mirror Room

First things first. Enter the Mirror Room and interract with the painting on the left until you have exhausted the dialogue. After that head to the Glass Display Room, back on the Second Floor, and interract with the painting at the bottom of the room. After that proceed with the Mirror Puzzle.

There are a few more minor changes to this puzzle, so here’s a To-Do list:

• Interract with the right Painting once.
• Move the Plant.
• Rearrange the right Shelf two times.
• Get the Fork on top of the left Shelf and place is next to the White Cake on the right Table.
• Get a Chocolate Cake from the Drawer, place it on the right Table, and rotate it two times.
• Place the Frog on the chair.
• Tear off the note.
• Sit on the right Chair.

Third Floor, Snake Room

When you attempt to force the Frog through the door window it will run away and hide in the hole in the wall. Go back to the Mirror Room and take the Stuffed Frog. What happens next is pretty self-evident.

Third Floor, Mouth Hallway

Upon reaching the Mouth Hallway, stand in front of the second mouth and interact with the wall on the other side. A passage will be revealed.

Fourth Floor, Brown Eyes

The Brown Eyes are inside the bloody Jack-in-the-box. Head to the Piano Room and place them inside the Red Haired head. You will recieve the Soldier Key. Head back in the Music Box room, stick the key inside the Music Box and play it. Walk out of the room, then go back in and retrieve the key. Insert the Soldier Key in the back of the Toy Soldier. Wind Left two times, then once Right.

Fourth Floor, Blue Eyes

After opening the door on the right, go inside, and hit all 3 Pumpkins. The last one will drop a piece of paper. Head to the room with the Jack-in-the-box and interract with the lamp on the desk. Go back to the pumpkin room and interract with the tea cup. Go to the Piano Room and interract with the backside of the piano. After that go back to the pumpkin with the note. Place the Blue Eyes in the painting of a Black Haired woman.

Fourth Floor, Red Eyes

After returning the Blue Eyes, go to the wall on the opposite side of the painting and interact with it.

After that, head back to the Snake room and enter the large crack in the floor. Get the White Paper and return to the piano room.

When the piano begins playing you will start catching glimpses of invisible people sitting on the chairs in the room. Behind the piano there are three chairs. Wait for an invisible person to show up on the middle one, then interract with him as fast as you can before he disappears. Go back to the pumpkin room and place the Red Eyes in the White Haired head.

Fourth Floor, Green Eyes

Go to the Music Box Room and hold up the eyes in front of the mirror.

First Floor, Kitchen

Go to the Skeleton Room and talk to the invisible person sitting on top of the Left bone pile. When the timer scene starts, walk to the Right pile and hide in it. Select “Not Yet” two times, after which proceed as usual.

After leaving the Kitchen, a chase scene will trigger. Tip: You can jump on the table.

Fifth Floor, Garden

After you’re done talking to the plants, a Bone Bowl will appear on the chair next to “The Talkative Plants” book. Pick it up and head to the skull room. The puzzle is solved, so you just need to pull the switch. Upon leaving the room a giant skull will charge at you, but you can dodge it by simply breaking the pot.

Fill the Bone Bowl with water, head to the room with the Yellow Flowers and splash the Grandfather Clock with it. Make sure to move away as soon as you do that. After that, go in the Garden and talk to the Elder Tree until you exhaust the dialogue. It will drop a branch. Pick it up and walk up to the Creepy Plants blocking the way. Use the stick to retrieve the Green Candle.
