How can I launch the game on steam without a controller?

Just ignore it. You can actually play by m&k.

Low FPS (Nvidia)

1. Change your settings in nvidia control panel as well.
2. Put the power option on high performance.
3. Go into windows graphics setting.
4. Search game and have it selected for performance.
5. Update driver if need be.

There is no HDR setting in benchmark tool

You can enable it in the GameUserSetting.ini file:

Is there NG+?

Yes. there is.

How to unequip a Mask on PS5?

You can use the option to not show headgear. Its in the settings.

I got my first relics but I choose a bad one how can I change or there will be an update for this?

You can reset.

Gameplay

What in the stats tree give you more mana?

Its locked behind levels. In the same tree as hp and stamina increase.

How do i equip/use drinks and soaks, i cant put them in the item tabs (where decoctions are)?

At the shrine and then you hold r2 + dpad.

Is there any way to dodge while i’m in the middle of an attack animation?

Yes there is a skill that you can unlock.

How to beat the last bear boss in Chapter 1?

Have burn resistance potion, you’ll need that or do the secret boss and get fireproof mantle. Also depend on how you die and how much health the boss have left. If you die too early and the boss have more than half health I suggest you pay attention to his attack pattern and learn to dodge them.

How to like “chain” the heavy smash attack into a light attack combo?

Unlock the skill for it and chain heavy anywhere in the light combo.

How do I kill the wind sage?

Learning his move set honestly cause that’s the only my way I’ve figured to beat these guys.

I’m stuck on yellow wind sage any tips?

Find the wind vessel (the drunk guy’s quest/after the father son duo). And really pay attention to his moves gotta learn the dodges it took me forever.

Where’s the drunk guy?

To the right of the entrance to the rock guardian fight.

Where’s the horse guy?

Travel to rockrest flat.

How do I get black loong?

• It’s at chapter 2. Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine.
• Once ya spawn in go right up the staircase.
• You will hear a random dude talking once you go hear the big door.
• That means you can enter (requirement is just the scale).

What was the point of those little statues you put a mask on?

You get an item or spirit for using each one at their areas, and they end up looping into each other by the wind place. The tiger one there’s a hp beads when you start sliding down the sand there’s a ledge you gotta double jump onto. the 3rd one is for boss boss.

The other one is by village entrance shrine a bit.

Combat

Erlang

Use the gord that recover qi. Equip the fan vessel, the ball spirit & the rock head dude transformation. Start the fight w the fan and pop an attack buff pill, fan will get rid of his first shield and you can get good damage in.

When he does the axe phase transition move run forward and dodge his slam, immediately run up to him and transform into rock man (will take a quarter his shield just by transforming on him) and spam light combos right up on him and that should take his 2nd shield away and then do whatever you can for base damage.

When he does his 3rd phase transition move where he splits into 2, dodge all the light beams then when he forms back into 1 immediately cloud step to avoid his needle spam and lightning blast. Then use the ball spirit to take half his shield away and fan again if you got it. Those are my tips. You can make the fight pretty scripted if you follow this.

The Duskveil

For duskveil stay under him to negate the long distance attacks bc when you’re under him he can only do them slow stomp attacks. Immobilize is good in the fight bc lets you get free damage in, clones are also super good for it, yellow loong transformation is great too does hella damage, smash stance is good too just make sure you abuse varied combos & fully charged heavy attacks.

And those basically all my tips. Doing all that I found him easy I beat him in 2 tries (not trying to invalidate your struggle btw I struggled on some bosses others said was easy myself).
