Useful Tips and Tricks

Command Towers

You get a cap increase for every foundation attached and then you raise the actual height per worker access. So if it has, 20 worker access you can do 20 floors.

Lost trading ships

If your trading ship is destroyed by pirates then it is lost for a bit of time and then you can find it in the world again.

How to place the gate from the intel mission

You need to place it in deeper water, some distance from any tower and rocks a little further than a harbor.

Resource Extractors

Fly around looking for resource deposits. Sometimes these have an extractor already on them that you can nick by deconstructing it. Alternatively, go to war for them.

The reason they are rare is that with unlimited or even common extractors you don’t need ships so much… Thus it becomes even for bulwark too easy.

At this point you have to try hard to not understand basic core mechanics which are very intuitive and also explained in detail in multiple locations.

How to solve a defensive war

You need to take down their smallest town and force them to open the dialogue window and you can request peace.

You will need a bit of affiliation.
