Tips that the game doesn’t give you. For me, the tips start with this you can grow up to 9 bamboo in the same growing box.
To make another garden box, you will need to make a compost bin and get to the point of making the seed generator in the tutorial. Once you can get seeds you will need to grow fruit and harvest fruit 10x and add them to the compost box along with a bucket of wood chips which is made using a log and the crusher. That will give you one bag to make another garden box along with 4 wood planks of course.
To expand your basement you will need to have gotten to a point of making profit with water bottles and have the tubular furnace. With the furnace you can make cement bags. You will then have to unlock the cement mixer which I think is 200 dollars on the computer and then make 6 buckets of cement using the mixer and use them on the same stretch of wall to expand your basement by one decent size cube. Cement is made using 1 bucket of sand, 1 bag of cement, and 1 bucket of water, which will put out 2 concrete buckets. (So really you can expand using the furnace one time and the mixer 3 times) .
Coal is by far the most efficient when making ingots, you can make at least 3 ingots per coal if you switch out the ingots and bars on the furnace when a bar gets done.
Make sure and have all the components craftable on the work bench before making the item that takes it or you WILL lose your materials. (Wires, pipes, cards etc).
