Useful Tips & Frequently Asked Questions
Medicine
How to Use Medicine
Medicine is primarily used by the Barber Surgeon, which becomes available after unlocking the Bombardier crew.
To unlock this production chain, construct either:
- Yoke Breaker (Level 3 Destroyer), or
- Wolfhound (Level 3 Wealth)
Both ships unlock the Bombardiers’ needs (Medicine and Boots), after which Medicine can be delivered to the Barber Surgeon.
Players also reported that Medicine can provide a large bonus during certain random events. Aside from that, excess Medicine can be sold for gold if you have a surplus.
Pirate Camps
Reassigning Buildings
The building reassignment button only works when you have multiple Pirate Camps within range. Once another camp is available, eligible buildings can be reassigned between camps.
Should You Duplicate Buildings?
Many players duplicate basic infrastructure (such as Campfires, Galleys, and similar essential buildings) in additional Pirate Camps to support local production.
Events
Do Events Respawn?
Yes. Each region contains at least one repeatable event, which resets approximately every hour.
Most repeatable events reward Raid Goods, such as:
- Wine
- Tobacco
Some special events are also repeatable.

Tavern Transport Routes
Creating Efficient Supply Routes
When placing a Brewery, a green connection line indicates an efficient route to the Tavern.
You can improve throughput by:
- Building multiple Breweries.
- Connecting each Brewery to the Tavern.
- Remember that each Community building supports up to three connections per upkeep resource (for example, up to three Rum connections, but not a fourth).
Transportation
Fastest Transport Methods
The fastest transportation methods are generally:
- Ziplines
- Aerial Lifts
- Elevators
Transportation Tips
- Ziplines are extremely fast when traveling downhill.
- Combining Masts + Ziplines + Elevators can create highly efficient transport networks.
- Elevators lose efficiency slightly faster than Aerial Lifts over the same distance, but they are significantly cheaper, making them a cost-effective option.
- If workers ignore an Aerial Lift, verify that it is properly connected.
- Avoid long Rope Bridge routes whenever possible, as pirates move slowest across them.
- Cliff Paths and Masts generally provide better transport efficiency than long Rope Bridge networks.
- If a special transport path connects directly into a production building, workers may occasionally choose an unexpected route. Creating a direct bypass around the building can improve pathfinding.
Warehouses
Removing Incorrectly Stored Resources
Resources cannot currently be emptied directly from a warehouse.
Possible workaround:
- Build another warehouse.
- Transfer the unwanted resource.
- Remove the temporary warehouse if no longer needed.
Moving Warehouse Contents
Warehouses can transfer resources to one another through manually assigned routes.
There is currently no “move everything” option.
Transfers are one-way unless you explicitly create routes in both directions.
Warehouse Optimization
Warehouses can also improve logistics.
Instead of making production buildings transport resources over long distances, place a warehouse closer to the destination so both warehouse workers and production workers share the hauling workload.
Cliff Paths
How to Unlock Cliff Paths
Some players found that the Cliff Path tool became available after constructing their second Pirate Camp. If it does not appear when expected, it may be related to tutorial progression.
Expanding to New Islands
How to Bring Resources to Another Island
To establish production on another island, connect it to your existing logistics network with a transport path leading from your current wood source or stockpile.
Basic connections can later be upgraded to faster transport methods such as Aerial Lifts or Ziplines.
Unlock Progression
Fish
Fish unlock later in progression, around Tier 4–5 ships.
Pigs
Pigs unlock much earlier, around Tier 2, making them the primary food source before Fish become available.
