Tips and Hints

Сrеdit gоеs to daMainMan!

Slide! This game is built around the slide mechanic. It uses the same controls as another game and shows it to you first thing in the first level. As an added bonus there is now also a SLIDE button – mapped to the right bumper. You’re about 90% invincible when you slide. Use it – especially during boss fights.

Any of the regular moving bosses (Boss 2, Boss 5, Boss 6) – You can dodge most of the attack by sliding. The blood wave in boss fight 5 can’t be dodged aside of jumping up to the balcony.

Boss fight 6 (PayDay) – She drops a hint at the start of the fight saying she’s bullet proof – and she is! You have to use your melee attack on her. Try to slide behind her for the best result and don’t duck while attacking – she doesn’t like that!

Did I say slide yet? Slide! Just do it. Mangle that right bumper like your life depends on it! It makes the game so much easier and that’s why it’s there!

The easier characters to use are Chuck and Cleo. Their bullets spread and cover more of an area so you can blast through. Diana has two guns and shoots almost double the speed of everyone else. Her bullets are weak on bosses but she can mow down enemies quickly. Larry and Max are precision characters where it’s easier to shoot directly at something and kill it quickly. You don’t need a spread – they’re for the more seasoned player.
