Tips to Choose the Best Common Driver
- Magnusson epic with Leclerc, Hamilton or Norris could work.
- Norris and Leclerc gave much better quali though so I lean to them.
- Hamilton does have good race start but he’s going to be launching from a lot further back so it’s counter productive.
- Sargeant is similar to Verstappen – both are not good with starts but have solid overtaking and qualifying.
- Alonso can be a better choice if properly upgraded.
Currently there’s. 10% boost on both Hamilton and Leclerc for series 5 commons.
If you are racing in series 5 then make sure you have a good corner setup on your car, with decent quali on the car. Don’t worry about PU or speed stats being lower.
Your driver stats are defending overtaking and race start, so Norris and Leclerc pip it there for me, as there’s only one track where Hamilton good race start would have any benefit. Always better to get a setup that will suit 3/4 tracks for best results.
Important note
Norris has bad tyre management, Leclerc has (only) good defending and Hamilton has good race start and tyre management, but bad qualifying.
In general I would say the best common driver is one that fits your style/strategy and the series you are racing in.
