This one’s very hard. After a bit of practice I found a way to get through without too much trouble. Thought I’d share for the benefit of others who are having trouble.

I use an Xbox controller, and the sprint/jump key combination was holding me back. Also I was using a lighted club.
So I changed it up and used a lighted spear – make sure you point the spear just above where you want to land – this gave me a much better aim for the landing point.
As for the sprint/jump itself, I moved back as far as I could, and made sure there were no rocks or sticks in front to trip over.
Then I used the keyboard combo of W+Shift together, and SPACE to do the actual jump – Worked just about every time – I only fell twice during the whole cave this way.
The entrance where you have to do the first 3 or 4 jumps is a great way to try out your technique to get it right. Don’t rush the jumps. Set them up and make sure the aim is sure before you do the sprint/jump.
This worked for me and I got through the cave in about 5 minutes (after practice). Hope it helps others.
