GNOSIA – Destroyer of the Universe & Loyal Servant Achievements

An easy way to get the two achievements that require you to win under “unfavorable conditions”.

How to Obtain Destroyer of the Universe & Loyal Servant Achievements

Destroyer of the Universe

Requires all silver key functions/access to the silver key.

Set up your loop as follows:

• Crew: 6
• Gnosia: 1
• Engineer: No
• Doctor: Yes
• Guardian Angel: No
• Guard Duty: No
• AC Follower: No
• Bug: Yes

Set your role to be the bug!

Precise help

Within the first round of discussions, there is a 4/6 chance that a crewmate will be put into cold sleep. After that, there is a 4/5 chance that a crewmate will be killed (gnosia cannot eliminate bugs, and if you were targeted it will say that “nobody was attacked last night”. I advise to restart if this happens, as the odds are in your favor)

Once you get to day 2, use “reveal role” to claim that you are the doctor, then proceed onwards with the discussion and vote for the person who is being doubted the most. If there was another who claimed to be the doctor, aim to get them put into cold sleep as if they are killed you will be voted for cold sleep on the next day. Boom, you are down to 3 members.

At this point the gnosia is definite, and if you vote them or get voted yourself for cold sleep you should be able to load your loop until you vote the remaining crew out.

At this point you should have unlocked the achievement.

Loyal Servant

Set the following:

• Crew: 6
• Gnosia: 1
• Engineer: Yes
• Doctor: No
• Guardian Angel: No
• Guard Duty: No
• AC Follower: Yes
• Bug: No

Set your role to be the AC Follower!

Precise help

This is very similar to the method used in obtaining the other achievement.

Within the first round of discussions, there is a 4/6 chance that a crewmate will be put into cold sleep. After that, there is a guarentee that a crewmate will be killed.

This brings the overall crew count to 4, including you, the player.

Once you get to day 2, use “reveal role” to claim that you are the engineer, then proceed onwards with the discussion and vote for the person who is being doubted the most. If there was another who claimed to be the engineer, aim to get them put into cold sleep as if they are killed you will be voted for cold sleep on the next day.

At this point the gnosia is definite, and if you vote them or get voted yourself for cold sleep you should be able to load your loop until you vote the remaining crew out.

Now you have the achievement!

Notes

“Unfavorable Conditions” still remain a bit of a mystery to me, as my strategy (the one I’ve shared with you all) to obtain these achievements didn’t really.. put me in any sort of disadvantage.

From what I’ve gathered, the more crew = the more “favorable” a loop is. Whoever’s “side” you’re on, (Gnosia or Crew, Bug is like being on your own side) the more of the other side there is, the less favorable the round will be.

You don’t need to “Reveal role” in order to gain the achievement, either. A crewmate can ask a role to step up and you can claim that role and under unfavorable enough conditions you will still get the award.
