The Meteorite Upgrade System
What is a meteorite?
A Meteorite is a permanent upgrade you can equip in the game. Meteorites change how your characters play.
It can change either stats like make your character faster and do more damage or change how an ability works, like for example making healing orbs explode and deal damage to enemies instead of healing your allies!
Some meteorites fits all characters and some are character-specific.
How do you use them?
Each character can equip up to 3 different meteorites at a time, so you can really combine your favorites and change the character’s play style.
Like if you look at the example above actually make an awesome DPS Healer.
Level up your meteorites!
Your meteorites can level up by finding more of the same kind, so it will grow stronger and stronger for every new meteorite you find.
For example when you find a move speed meteorite, at level 1 you get 5% extra move speed and then get 2% more for every additional move speed meteorite you find, until it’s reached its maximum level.
How do you find them?
The meteorites are scattered through a level, some can be acquired by talking to an NPC, some are hidden in the environment, some are dropped from enemies and bosses – and you can get meteorites as a reward for completing a specific challenge.
The different types of Meteorites
The meteorites come in 4 different rarities:
- Space Rock (Common)
- Shiny (Rare)
- Legendary
- Rainbow Star (The Highest Tier)
The rarer the meteorite the better it is.
