Tips for Those Having Difficulty

Voltage Is King

It increases your motivation(mana) charge rate. For every musical instrument type in use at once the level goes up permanently. Ideally you really want to get up to voltage 6 or higher for most stages. So it’s quite important to make sure the instrument types of your units aren’t overlapping too much so your max voltage can be higher.

Sometimes Stalling Is Best

In bad situations the best thing to do is often just let your motivation accumulate and let the enemy assault your flag. You get a big boost of motivation (enough to summon a UR unit often) when your flag blows up. With this boost+ your accumulated stock you can often do a counterattack strong enough to take down the enemy. If you have THE WALL support card(you get this for completing Tokyo Tour) this is very good for stalling if you don’t have enough motivation qued up.

Don’t Panic Spend Motivation

Kind of goes along with stalling but if you are spamming units that are just delaying the inevitable (e.g. low cost tanks that do no damage, protect no units and blow up) you are setting up a losing scenario. there’s not really any penalty to letting the enemy do some damage as long as they don’t kill you.

Not All Units Are Created Equal

While it is best to not overlap instruments there is a limit, make sure you have a least a few high dps, aoe units and 1-2 decent tanks. Among the URs I’ve tried Pekora and Korone seem quite a bit stronger then the others and Okayu is also decent. The free Ayame beast thing you get from chapter completion is also very good. Also make sure you have 2-3 low cost units ( They should have 1-2 cost, sometimes you can get away with 3 cost but it makes things a bit more difficult).

Auras, They Matter

This part is very annoying as the gacha system means you aren’t necessarily gonna have a great answer for some aura situations. There’s 4, they result in 1 to 2 shots on your units and there’s no way of stopping the game from spamming you with units that can’t deal with the aura you are up against. In cases like those you just kinda gotta overwhelm with dps and stalling if you can.

When All Else Fails Grind and Boost

The later the level the more gold it gives, the social media mini game lets you accumulate a fair amount as well. Some extra stats can go a long way. They need to probably fix the translation on those tweets so it actually matters for category matching though. Currently it doesn’t really make any sense.
