Early on, focus on stealth. You generally don’t have the firepower for heavy fights.

Tripwires and mines are invaluable for dealing with large, fast-moving enemies.

This game is fairly tactical; you need to learn your enemies to use the right weapons and hit the right weak spots.

Like the first game, be prepared to grind to upgrade your gear, weapons, and consumable pouches.

To grind for any of these, do a Google search to find the best places.

While grinding, keep the game at normal difficulty or harder for a while to learn more about the mechanics and for the challenge. Then set the game to easy for most of your grinding to save time. Switch back to your preferred difficulty for main and side missions.

Activate fast travel points around the areas you’re grinding. Kill the machines or animals for resources, fast travel out, then back to respawn them.

Stay calm, read everything, and don’t rush. Do some main missions first before tackling side missions, as it will make the game easier. Pay attention, and you’ll understand why.
