League of Legends: Wild Rift – Support Tips

There is general/useful knowledge about support you should to know.

Tips to Play as Support

Try to learn how to apply pressure as Nautilus bushes also help with that a lot and just play more games to get into stuff that you need to do constantly as watching map, warding, keeping track of enemy jungle, roaming can be considered but as Nautilus you really slow.

Also can try to keep track of enemy abilities you can start slow with only keeping track of enemy sup in lane phase as example you as Nautilus as theres Leona on enemy she has like 7s cooldown on 3rd ability and can’t engage if she doesn’t land it so try get past her to the adc when she misses but you also need to consider state of wave for that so its more experienced stuff.

There’s a couple little things you should try doing:

  1. Take bush control, like, as in, walk inside a bush and deward it. This gives more of an advantage than you think (they wont see where your champ is, where your hooks will come from, MUCH easier to setup kills).
  2. Early game the general rule is you want to take control ward if you’re confident you can protect it and then ward your bush and stay inside fishing for a good hook/binding etc etc, but take a stealth ward instead if you’re fighting aggro so you can ward for enemy jungle or ward your own bush to give vision on enemy support.

The rest is macro you can learn as you play but this is stuff I see people mess up even in sov lobbies.

Also for itemization

Remember that unless you’re playing some hard snowball support, you want to make sure the items you buy are cheap and broke friendly.

Because you won’t be csing.

So that means items that extend past 3k gold are incosistent on support.

What’s csing?

It’s a term used for killing minions. Typically as support you want to give as much farm to your team and instead focus on roaming and setting up for ur team, peel and spoonfeed adc.

  • And typically most tank supports just default to relic shield.
  • But it’s different for other supports.
  • For squishier champs you want to optimize it better for the matchup.
  • The items vary thoo, there will be some cases where you’re rich enough to buy more expensive items but that’s up to you to decide.
  • And some champs NEED expensive items.
  • Like pyke or sometimes lux.
  • But for naut you’re probably gonna build stuff like deadmans plate warmogs zekes etc.

Questions and answers

How does support work in this game?

Entirely depends on what you play but most times you are with adc or fed ally, you will get hang of it with time don’t be afraid or taking risks in helping with fights if you close, your help can overthrow outcome of battle.

  • Yuumi lulu milio (like those enchant supps) you entirely babysit your adc all lane phase and can switch to someone who fed after.
  • Soraka janna tank sups after lane phase you preferably need to be in group fights or where you think will be a fight.
  • Rakan(if your adc isn’t xayah) pyke(those types like engage sups) you need to roam they thrive in getting value from solo kills and have high mobility.
  • Mages can roam but more of hit or miss type it’s either you confident in your ability to carry games or your adc trash (lux karma zyra will help you get out of gold/plat if you good with them).

Who are good combos (if there are any)?

Entirely depends on what match up and what your team has and also skill that’s why its good to have big pool. Rn lucian nami is meta but you need to know how to play it, xayah rakan is perfect for each other they were created for that.

What are some items supports should almost always have?

Im gonna talk only about enchant sups because they all have pretty much same items its ardent crest, harmonic echo, you can build staff of water if theres more ap in your team(some kaisa players also benefit from it depends on their items), protectors vow/redemption if you want to keep focus on saving 1 ally or constant heals.

Are there any champions that aren’t listed in supports that can be made into a support?

Not sure about that all sups are good there isn’t any reason to go outside that pool but I’ve seen Heimerdinger, Jarvan, Shen.
