How to Fix any Performance Issues and Make the Game Less Blurry

Config Location

Windows:

  • user>appdata>Local>LiS>Saved>Config>WindowsNoEditor>Engine

Linux:

  • <Steam-folder>/steamapps/compatdata/1265920/pfx/

Commands

Add the following to Engine.ini under the paths.

r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0
r.MaxAnisotropy=16
r.MotionBlurQuality=0
r.LensFlareQuality=0
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0
r.PostProcessAAQuality=0
r.BloomQuality=0
r.ScreenPercentage=100

Commands Explained

  • r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 – Disables Film Grain and character blur
  • r.MaxAnisotropy=16 – Higher values mean better texture quality when using anisotropic filtering
  • r.MotionBlurQuality=0 – Disables Motion Blur
  • r.LensFlareQuality=0 – Disables Lens Flare
  • r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0 – Disables that annoying blur around the edges of your screen
  • r.PostProcessAAQuality=0 – This turns off AA and will make the game have jagged edges, but be less blurry.
  • r.BloomQuality=0 – Disables bloom effect
  • r.ScreenPercentage=100 – Renders the screen at 100%
