Lithium City – Bossfight Guide

Phase 1 & 2

Сrеdit gоеs to Firemorfox !

  • Note that the boss has high HP, and doesn’t heal.
  • Note that the player has low HP, and heals quickly.

So your playstyle should be small strikes, guerilla warfare, retreat, heal, continue to attack again.

Note that the boss gets stunned when hit, so if you dash away, you can go right back to fighting and then heal while they are stunned from you attacking them.

If the boss charges up the twirl, dash away. You likely die if you don’t.

You can wait about 3 twirls, then dash towards the boss, for a free hit of damage while they’re recovering from the twirl attack.

If the boss uses a gun, dash towards them and land a free hit (or two)

If the boss dashed recently, either hit them once, or double click (sometimes the boss dashes right back, getting hit by the double click’s second attack).

If the boss throws a single javelin, either attack the boss for a free hit, or swing and block the javelin.

If the boss throws a line of several javelins, wait for them to glow, then wait slightly longer, then dash twice to dodge all the javelins.

Phase 3

Boss is now much more aggressive. The only way you can heal now, is if you stun the boss from enough attacks that it buys you the time to heal.

Boss is also much more likely to use javelins here. You need to wait slightly longer after the glow, because of the slow-mo in phase 3 (which may mess up your timing).

I highly recommend never attacking more than 3 times with the sword, the lunge combo is a slow attack and leaves you vulnerable to the boss’s twirl attack. Instead, swing twice (double click), move or dash away, then return to attack the boss with double clicks. this means all your attacks are the fast swing attack.

Miscellaneous Notes

If the boss is above you, just aim normally.

If the boss is below you, aim towards their feet. The game is isometric, so their feet is where their location actually is, don’t aim for their head.

Also, if you corner the boss near a wall, and keep attacking with double clicks, you basically trap them into continually trying to dash away, but they’re trapped by the wall, giving you free hits. Abuse this as much as you can, it makes it much, much, much easier to win.
