This quest is a part of the “adduls passage” and is probably the most complicated. Loads of hidden secrets that most players (like myself) would have zero idea about without a guide, so here it is!

First Step

First thing you’ll need to do it not boot up your game, but your computer settings. The first item we need only spawns during a real life full moon, lucky for us that one occurred on Halloween; change the internal clock to October 31 2023 (or any other date which a full moon happened) then launch Lunacid. Now head to the Forlon arena and straight to the exit. on the right side you’ll find a body holding a sword, it’s yours now.

Step 2

Staying in the arena, you’ll need to find two “fragments” in order to fix your sword, both can be found in the dungeons on both sides. Starting with the left “earth” dungeon. Head to the right side and reach the open room noted with the giant sword sticking out, go left from the sword till you hit a wall with some vines on it. Use a spell like coffin to reach the secret door and follow the path down till you get fractured life.

Step 3

Now to the second dungeon, “Water”. This one is probably the most confusing step as the door isn’t as obvious to find. Heading to the entrance go on the left side and turn on the first right, straight in the room is the secret door from there you’ll need to climb up to a ledge in the room (in my case, use coffin). down the slide and into the underwater structure will be fractured life. now head back to wing’s rest, to the alchemy menu and place all your items there. Congratulations , you know hold Limbo.

Now Let’s Kill Death

With your new found blade, head to the accursed tomb and down through the peasant graves and Noble crypts. Traverse till you hit the mausoleum. Head down and through the maze till you hit a big open room (easy way is to follow where the phantom enemies are), Death lies here. it may take a bit for him to spawn (you’ll know when “Death approaches” comes on screen) so you may have to explore a bit till he comes, once he appears pull out Limbo and give a good swipe. Death has fallen, collect his scythe and head on back to wing’s rest.

Now What

Back at Wing’s rest, yet something isn’t right. The music has changed and none of the NPCs are there anymore. Turns out you’ve been cursed (check the new note found near the moon statue), and the only way to lift it is to upgrade the scythe, here comes to grind. There’s one more thing that is added with your curse, “spectres” now appear and will attack you as well as drain your mana, they’re immune to any basic attack so only magical weapons hurt them. They can appear anywhere in the game but I find that they show up most around graveyards and other places of the dead.

    • Fastest way to upgrade the scythe is to stay in wing’s rest and spam the coffin spell and just break those (make sure you use charged attacks, weapon XP is based on damage dealt)

      Took maybe 15 minutes.

    • 100% the fastest way is coffin with charged attacks. There is no faster way to level up weapons in the game.

    • If you want to quickly upgrade weapons, I recommend going to the Labyrinth of Ash and repeatedly hitting the head of a dead Centaur with charged attacks. Takes like 2 mins.
