Mechs V Kaijus – Pro Tips to Avoid Grinding in Early Game

Early Game Tips

  1. Jump your Mechs out of the wall so they shoot all the time.
  2. In the early missions, build your main wall of shield walls in the middle of the level maximum, or better, a bit closer to your main wall.
  3. Unlock The Grinder and anti-air towers ASAP, and use the grinders in front of your Main shield Wall. Area of Damage Towers is the key to not getting overwhelmed.
  4. The best upgrade for in the Early Game ABRAXAS is Ammo, since she is a single bullet clip, every upgrade gives you another one.
  5. Destructible towers go behind walls! FlameTowers go behind but close to the wall, and artillery goes at the very back.
  6. Wall recycling is only good in the Early Game of the mission, mid to mid-to-end game is better to upgrade. Wait to upgrade until they are very damaged to maximize the utility of the walls, when possible.
  7. Learn where to shoot with your mech, your mech can shoot anywhere, so, use it to protect your weakest side, where you have less amount of DPS. Don´t waste your bullet with the mini Kaijus, use grinders for that.
  8. Use all the construction nodes before upgrading your towers. MVK is unique in the sense that you can sell your towers and re-organize your defense. Example: in the Harbor level, you can place 6, or 7 AA towers, and once the wave has passed sell them and re-organize the defense.

Adapt using the correct towers in the most efficient position to maximize damage is key, or just grind a lot and just overpower the enemy with raw power. That’s your choice.
