Naheulbeuk’s Dungeon Master – How to Lower Tavern People Waiting

Guide to Lower Tavern People Waiting

How-To

Bars. The early ones don’t cost more in maintenance than tables, so use them to bring down the waiting time. The more people are waiting, the more it’s eating into your profits.

Also, IMO its better to have lots of bars VS a few really big ones. Like sure more money better clients. But when you have like 30 people waiting in line, thats missed revenue.

Id rather take 10g every second VS 20g every 5 seconds.

How to get lots of bar

You should be able to move the tavern (and the other rooms) to different floors if needed : the 4 arrows icon. If you don’t have enough space on the first floor, move it to another one, then you can expand it a lot more.

Important note

You can flat out delete it, and build another one. You can only ever have one tavern, but you can at any time delete the one you have to build another one at another floor. I would recommend finding a big floor and dedicating the entire floor to the tavern but start small and expand piecemeal. Having 5-6 bars and capacity for 80ish guests and a max rated tavern should have you swimming in more money than you can ever manage to spend, and it is extremely cheap to do early on. Just don’t add in meals because there is no way for your poor cooks to keep up and you don’t need the money anyway …yet.
