Higher difficulty level drops rarer level loot more often. Normal vs Easy difficulty Tool shop have higher chance to spawn glass fibre / Clothing shop have more chance to drop higher level fabric (L1 Cotton Fabric – L2 Bulk leather – L3 Chemical Fibre fabric – L4 Carbon fibre). Higher difficulty also seem to spawn more items in a single spot on average.

From normal difficulty and higher ALWAYS go to the special building to kill the boss (Factory, Military base, Survivor camp, Lab), it always drop a stage access document of the same or +1 difficulty (Normal boss drops either normal or hard stage access file, around 50/50 chance). each boss also have some chance to drop a key card for their special buidling (normal boss drop white key card to open a special room in factory…etc). Survivor camp does not have a special room. it’s good practice to go straight for the boss at the start, loot the special location before moving onto other buildings.

For Hard boss in Military camp, Ibuprofen (red pills) make you immune to dizzy if you need it.

In clothing shop, both the carton box (higher chance) and clothing showcase (lower chance) can spawn fabrics/ sewing kit/ canvas bag. Best place to farm fabrics. Wardrobes in apartment has a similar drop pool to clothing showcase, can drop fabrics.

Tool shop loot spots can spawn glass fibre (lvl 3 equipment crafting material), higher difficulty the better chance. Also the place to farm for gunpowder / steel balls / Repair item components. The earlier you get Lvl 3 boots with 3x comfort insole attachment the better. Outdoor store can also drop glass fibre.

Repair shop has somewhat similar drop pool with tool shop, but can also drop metal powder bottle.

A few Packsack (level 2 backpack) in your inventory is probably the optimal loadout, Level 3 backpack military backpack is too expensive for a little extra space. I keep 4x Packsack in inventory and it’s good enough. Start with a few level 1 backpacks and go from there.

Desk can drop keys and access cards, if you need various keys places like Office and Bank has a lot of desk. Keys varies from car key to apartment key to various store/villa keys. The loot pool also includes bank card, and there’s a tiny tiny chance for SVIP bank card for unlocking bank vault. Lockers drop pool also have keys and access cards.

Safe drop pool includes Keys, cards & Stage access file (rare drop) among various things.

Medical crate drop pool includes Empty Syringe + Physiological saline among other med components, both important components for crafting but especially Adrenaline injector (red needle) which is god tier. Med crates also has tiny chance to drop various injectors directly as their rare drop. Factory carton is a different drop pool from medical crate, it only drops lower level meds (might have a tiny tiny chance for better stuff but I’ve never seen it), you can ignore once you stocked up on enough low level meds, higher level meds include things like red/blue/teal/purple pill bottle among many others.

Simple car key can unlock police cars around police stations. They have good chance to drop Blue access card (especially on higher difficulty). You need 2x blue access card to allow you to enter Police station armory, bonus 1x office key door in police station. Police car can also drop FBL ID (4k for 1 space) that’s used to make a support grenade. Outside police station in the back (northside) there’s also a police weapon box. Car keys can also open military vehicles but the loot is poor.

Villa keys are cheap in black market (16k) but spawns rarely. there are 1x apartment key door + 2x wood key door inside villa. Lots of trophy case and some pro gamer computer desk, lots of high value loot. Don’t do villa in easy difficulty.

Lots of loot spots have some really rare loot drop chance, eg. Computer desk’s rare loot pool includes CPU / GPU / Laptop …etc, Pro gamer computer desk have higher chance to drop rare loots. Jewelry display / trophy display has some super high value rare drop pool loots among others, even clothing or shoe showcase have some (formal suit, formal pants, famous name brand handbag, wedding dress, leather shoe…etc)

Human enemy (rare encounter) usually hold weapons with a lot of attachments unless they’re holding guns with few attachment space and some chance for key/card. Heroic difficulty special building has a lot of human enemies, lots of good attachments including military version with higher stats. Weapons and attachments also has rare loot pool drops (night vision googles, enhanced headlight, grenade launcher attachment, double magazines…etc)

In hard difficulty and higher pay attention when you find muzzle breaks, there’s a rare drop type called Muzzle Compensation Brake that looks very similar to normal muzzle but is much better, gives full recoil + stability stat bonus.

For Hell difficulty spoiler, you need red access card to enter the lab. These can be found in Police station desk (Confirmed) within the same difficulty level but make sure you bring 2 blue key cards and 1 office key to open up Police station. I’m guessing hospital desk (to be confirmed) may also spawn red access card. There might be other places that drop red key card and I just haven’t found them.

  1. Any idea where the best places to find carbon fiber are? And where the heck are diamonds? Just super rare or hell mode?

  2. Any tips for defeating bosses? I cant even beat the normal boss in the factory even thought I have an AK and Im 18 hours in lol

    • Lure the boss into a larger area like the lobby. Use your sprint in tiny burst to dodge his charge. his cd between his charge is pretty short, don’t get greedy on damage and reload right after he charge, use only the short time he’s paused to reload or fire, never fire or reload as he’s about to charge you. It’s a sort of red light green light where you match his timing instead.

  3. How do you get the entry item for Hell difficulty? I have finished the Survivor camp around 10 times now, and i can’t find it .

    • Might be 1 of 2 problems, bad luck from only getting Heroic entry item (the chance for hell entry item does seem to be around 25% or so for me so very possible), or the boss (human officer) is getting killed in spots where you can’t loot him. Nothing you can do about the 1st problem, the second problem is just trying to kill him only in spots where you can loot. ACOG 4x or high powered scope will help you check out enemy position in the camp without being shot at.

  4. Do I always have to purchase the entry item from Black Market for normal diff or there is a spot for it in easy diff?

  5. what exactly are the boss locations? are they the POIs indicated with a yellow text? like police station? And what would you say are the most common locations for keys? some shops have open backoffices with a safe inside, but still they are sort of rare.

    • Boss locations are: Factory in normal, Military camp in hard, Survivor camp in Heroic, D Laboratory in Hell. You’ll find your boss there. For keys you can do Office/Bank runs and mainly search desk, skip drawers for faster runs. You’ll eventually find that most store keys aren’t worth it, giving 1 safe + a couple loot spots, only store keys like Jewelry or maybe digital store are worth bothering with. Once you get used to military base and survivor camp you’ll find that it’s better value over time then most other locations, survivor camp in particular is like 8 different stores jammed into 1 location. You’ll only ever do clothing store / tool / repair store runs when you need fabric and other crafting materials at that point.
