Useful Tips & Tricks for New Players

Whats the difference between Att. Speed and Cooldown?

The attack speed affects the time between projectiles. For example, when Axeldör uses his sword he attacks twice and then goes into cooldown. The time between those two sword attacks is affected by the attack speed. Then once he finishes his attacks, that time is affected by the cooldown reduction.

How do i increase Gnöki’s affinity?

I can tell you one thing, Gnöki sure loves money ($-$). And his love remains between runs.

What the different types of hearts do?

  • Red Hearts: These are the normal hearts. When they receive damage, they become empty but are not lost.
  • Blue Hearts: They are lost when damaged.
  • Green Hearts: They are also lost when taking damage. But every time they take damage they drop green XP.

How I can obtain more leaves?

Each character can get a limited amount of leaves in each realm, 12 in total (between both realms, 6 each) for now. 1 in Normal mode, 2 in Hard mode and 3 in Expert mode for each realm.

Other ways to get leaves is to defeat the bosses for the first time. Each one will give you 1 Leaf, but the final boss will give you 2. Devs are working on new ways to get leaves that will be released in the next content patch.

How to do Ragnarok 7 on Muspelheim?

Play Talkor! Talkor does not require any other weapons, only gold coin weapons. Even in the Muspelheim map, this is true.

The gameplay is very simple:

  • Must have 2 crystals.
  • Must have a obelisk that increases the chance of effectiveness.
  • Evolve coin weapons twice, resurrect with 46 coins, and upgrade skill Amber Orb.
  • Do not take any relics and collect coins dropped by monsters around the obelisk that increases the chance of effect.

And all you need to do is complete these four steps as quickly as possible. If you can’t defeat the first elite, it’s because your proficiency is not enough, resulting in a small number of coins.

Of course, in Ragnarok 7 difficulty, you need to eliminate some curses that make you easily injured. For example, there is a probability that a monster will explode when it dies, and there is a probability that a monster will emit a red light ball when it dies, and so on.

In Ragnarok 7 difficulty, you need to have at least 400 coins before the first boss, which can basically guarantee defeating the first boss.

After defeating the first boss, there is no difficulty afterwards.

But if you want to participate in the time race, you need at least 600 coins and enough luck to obtain the golden mirror from the altar or the golden mushroom from the treasure chest.

The golden mirror can earn you at least 1200 gold coins before the first boss, and the golden mushroom can increase your damage by a lot. (If you can obtain the Golden Rabbit, you will be invincible, but in my experience, the probability of obtaining the Golden Rabbit from the treasure chest is lower than that of the Golden Mushroom, even if the Golden Mushroom is a legendary relic.)

After defeating the first boss, it still takes some luck. Find the golden rabbit among the relics on the map (don’t go shopping), so you can quickly complete a game.

Tips for Phoenix Boss

The difficulty of this map lies in the first boss “Phoenix”.

Look at the forward swing of its attack, the phoenix probably has a head up movement after landing. When this action occurs, immediately walk behind it to deal damage, and there is plenty of time to deal damage. So every time it lands, you have to stand in front of it at a very close distance. The above is about how to deal with skills like Spitfire. If it’s summoning a Flame Tornado, just run away immediately and wait for the Phoenix’s next skill.

Phoenix has only two skills. The first one is to summon the Flame Whirlwind. After seeing the red circle on the ground, run away. The second one is to breathe fire. When breathing fire, there will be obvious movements. Seize the opportunity to walk behind it. It will spew fire for a long time, at which point it is like a wooden stake, and you can deal damage freely.

Using inferno codex is the best option. It has the highest damage and significant burn damage, but it must have at least 8 fireballs. If there are not enough fireballs, the damage they cause will be very low.

Heroes Tips

Tips for playing Talkor

Click on the resurrection talent and start with death, so you can start with 46 coins.

Take luck at the beginning to obtain 2 Evolutionary Crystals, allowing the coin weapon to evolve twice. On the basis of reviving 46 coins, the first level can end with a minimum of 350 coins. (When reaching the maximum gold coin limit, point out the Infinite Pocket skill).

Based on these two foundations, Talkor is the simplest hero.

Tips for playing Alruna

To play Alruna well, the first thing to know is where her damage mainly comes from. It is obvious that it comes from the skeleton she summoned. And which of the three types of skeletons can cause the highest damage? It’s still very obvious, the warrior skeleton. Because warrior skeletons can always follow and attack enemies, their damage and frequency of attacks are the highest.

After understanding this, Alruna became very simple. All the combinations are built around strengthening the warrior skeleton.

Here is the specific idea.

Idea #1:

  • Due to the need for warrior skeletons to attack enemies, our idea when the Boss appears is to have all warrior skeletons attack the Boss.
  • The best way to achieve this goal is to quickly kill the ordinary monsters next to the Boss.
  • So the best weapon choices have emerged: Mandrake or Selenite Wand.
  • However, it should be noted that Selenite Wand is not easy to kill ordinary monsters starting from the highest difficulty of the fourth map.
  • So I recommend using Mandrake.
  • As for the other two weapons, they are completely unable to quickly kill ordinary monsters (at the highest difficulty level), so we will not consider them here.

Idea #2:

  • Due to the powerful buff provided by Alruna’s ultimate skill, with the support of the buff, the damage of the warrior’s skull can become very high.
  • Her ultimate skill requires a lot of duration.
  • The reason is also very simple. Many bosses have a long invincibility time. If the duration is not enough, there will be a long time without buffs in between, which will significantly reduce the damage of the warrior’s skull.
  • So every upgrade of the ultimate skill requires a duration option.

Idea #3:

  • Splittered Bones requires a level up and only recommends a level up.
  • The reason is to apply a bleeding effect to the enemy.
  • The bleeding effect can cause maximum health percentage damage to enemies and has a good effect on dealing high health enemies, so it can be upgraded by 1 level.

Below are specific skill screenshots and the highest difficulty settlement screenshot of the first map.

Another thing to add, Alruna is really good at using summon skills from other characters. The GLITCH and Amaranth’s Ivy, Chilli Peppers or Skog are great for her because Alruna boosts the power of summon skills in multiple ways. I got Ivy on her once and it was crazy.

Example of Farm Build

Farm build for custom-expert +700%, reliant on Missing and the reset relic and strong weapon, I failed in vanaheim earlier with poison bomb, this isn’t the exact tree for this clear-run, but I think it would be enough to at least have these (560 leaves). And maybe it can be done without the status-effects ones in the combat tree.

Ok, I might not have thought this through, still only have 1 blue heart, and after reviving, you’ll have 1 blue heart, and this might only be possible with skog, or whichever weapon that can clear first boss without ascension. And at least the blue heart gets replenished when entering gnoki’s realm.

How to play Talkor to complete the game quickly?

The trick of Talker is the most complex of all characters.

  • Talkor needs two evolution crystals to start the game, evolving his coin weapon twice in order to quickly obtain a large amount of coins in the early stages.
  • In the time race, Talkor must be resurrected at the beginning to start with 46 coins.
  • Talkor’s skills must have an Amber Orb, as the drop of gold coins from coin weapons is positively correlated with the probability of their effects. In your screenshot, the skill was clicked incorrectly, resulting in a scarcity of coins.
  • According to the third point, the probability of Talkor’s effect is also very small when the number of coins is scarce, so the help of the obelisk is needed. It is best to have a obelisk at the beginning that can increase the probability of effectiveness. This way, you can quickly have a large amount of gold coins at the beginning.
  • Talkor only needs one relic, which is the golden rabbit. Other than that, nothing else is important. So in the race of time, you still need some luck. In Nightmare Mode, it is best to obtain the Golden Rabbit before the second or third Boss. After obtaining the Golden Rabbit, just pick up the gold coins.

Here is my screenshot. I have collected a large amount of coins and with the help of the Golden Mirror and Golden Rabbit, I have gained an 8000% damage bonus. All enemies are instantly killed.

How to obtain a large amount of gold coins before the first boss and how to obtain the golden rabbit at the fastest speed are two key factors for Talkor to complete the game quickly.

The Strongest Combination

In the current version, the strongest combination is shown in the picture. Opening selection: Sindri’s Axe+Golden Mushroom or Damage Crystal Enhanced (Golden Rabbit is also acceptable) Then just upgrade Sindri’s Axe.

The impact of Relic Exchanger on game racing has been immensely significant. Many characters can achieve records that were never possible before.
