Nova Lands – Tips for Efficient Automation

If you’re rather late in the game and want to start optimizing your automation then this tips is for you.

Efficient Automation Tips

Tip 1: Install speed chips in all your bots. This boost is multiplicative, not additive, meaning that it is always going to outperform other upgrades.

Tip 2: Weave out worker bots from your automation. Once you have auto-farms and drills, haulers will be more valuable than workers. Just two auto-farms will eliminate the need for two worker drones. Some farms are self sufficient once you bring enough water balls to ‘prime’ them, like berry trees, twiggy trees, water ball plants and juice plants. Haulers are both faster in the end and more versatile. Same goes for drills, they strait up remove the need from mining bots.

Tip 3: Remove all the surplus storage. You do not need that much once you have machines that store their output, leaving space for more buildings.

Tip 4: Buy the advanced building schematics from the space station, as well as the packer. These buildings will serve in keeping your base constantly loaded resources, and the only cap is how well you organise them and the space on your island, which will increase by not having tons of machines everywhere. They use less space in the end, and can easily leave you with an excess of resources. Packaging is not that long a procedure, and once you further automate things you will enjoy the steady stream of progress.

Tip 5: A corollary to the above tip, go see the inventor in the space station as early as you can after getting the advanced schematics. This will provide those big package buildings a 100% (Not a joke) boost for 3000 credits. This is not post game, so it is worth it if you can get to this point.

Yeah, that was a lot, but hopefully these efficiency tips will help you out going into the very-late game.
