Reign of Guilds – Starter Tips

Town Layout

• West side of town is a row of shops.
• Picnic area has Innkeeper for buying all litems and sells food. Next to him is hunter. Very important. Storage guy is there too.
• Blue thing is a teleporter, bench guy sells tele scrolls around tutorial island.
• Red thing I’m unsure of, but it also opens my tele book so I assume you can leave main island with it.
• Windmill has miller and will turn wheat into flour.
• Other refining places are scattered but they’re NOT worth using in this area.

Tips & FAQ

Ancient coins are from guard’s 3 bear quest (repeatable,) any boss, or skeletons in castle.

• You need 3 ancient coins to leave the starter island.
• You need 10 ancient coins to buy legendary gear from the northern merchant, per gear purchase.

Jewelry is also available from this merchant. Middle of the northern forest.

Wood and ore is picked up from lumber yard and mines. Basic mine has iron ore.

H to start party right, click your name to leave.

Secret mine in catacombs of castle has all the best ores but is VERY difficult in the miner section.

Eat Food. Make sure you are never hungry, it drains all your regens. Eat only one of each food at a time, food has like a weird internal cooldown where duplicate foods suck. One of each per eating session. I like to eat to 100 and then let it fall.

Durability is the first of the top 3 numbers on your weapon. Lock the weapon with F + click and hover over to learn things! You can repair in mainland.

Making Money

When you first start, making cash is a bit difficult. I would just kill chickens and stickmen outside of the starter town for their drops and sell them, also the ez starter quests.

Once you have a bit of levels and can start fighting, you’re set. Teleport to the “farm” or “lumber yard” and kill boars and deer. Turn their quests in to guard and their pelts in to the picnic table hunter, you’ll be rich fast.

Bears are the ultimate goal. You can hide in the lumber yard building and cheese them, but once you learn AI on your like 8th hour or so you can just easily kill them.

Once you get armor, they’re easy to kill. This allows you to gain 100k+ silver/hr if you know spawns.

Red border items – Sometimes you don’t lose these maybe bug, but these iems disable teleporting and are dropped on death.

Training Skills

Currently the best way to train skills is focusing on only one damage skill and rerolling some of that skill into others that you need. You can only reroll inside of magic or physical, not across.

Buy rerolls from bench guy near teleporter.

• Swords – Dex
• Big Weapons – Strength
• Magic – Corresponding Element
• Ranged – Accuracy
• Healing – Endurance

All mobs have a weakness it seems eg skeletons – strength weps. Fighting anything where you deal damage is good training.

Armor is Extremely Important. Bears hit me for 30 damage. I can afk them with a HoT on, i started last night. All melee users should level endurance slightly lower thant heir damage stat imo.

The BEST training is to 360 a boar at melee distance (right up against it) in the northern woods (4 star boar) hitting it infinitely. You can cast a HoT if it’s not resetting enough.

It’s not fun though, I recommend just fighting stuff and doing the quest loops. You’ll need the money for armor and stuff anyway.
