Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun – Fix Crash on Startup

How to fix start up crash under Win 10/11.

The Fix

• Run regedit.exe
  • Press winkey+r and type regedit
• Goto “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\ShadowTacticsBladesoftheShogun”
  • You can copy+paste the path
• Change “Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode” to 0, which will set the full screen mode to off
  • Just double or right click “Screenmanager Is Fullscreen …” to change the value
• Change “Screenmanager Resolution Height” to “384”, which will set the height to 900 pixels
  • Just double or right click “Screenmanager Is Fullscreen …” to change the value
• Change “Screenmanager Resolution Width” to “5A0”, which will set the width to 1440 pixels
  • Just double or right click “Screenmanager Is Fullscreen …” to change the value
• Start the game
  • If the error is still present, restart the game once more.

Note: The registry will reset after the first successful startup but there’s no need to modify it again!
