Singularity – How to NG+

Have you ever wanted to play through the game again whilst keeping all of your upgrades, weapons, and glove from the first playthrough? Well, there’s a way.

How to Get NG+

Introduction

Singularity never got a NG+ mode, which means if you want to play the game again while keeping all of your upgrades and weapons from your last playthrough at the start, the only way you’re able to do so is by copying files.

First Step

  1. Go to Documents folder.
  2. Open Singularity folder.
  3. Rename the RvGame folder to something else, e.g: RvGame END

Image example, it should look like this:

Note/explanation: This step must be done after you aquire all the upgrades you want to start the game with, either after finishing the game, or if you want to restart your playthrough whilst keeping your upgrades, maybe because you wanted to change the difficulty.

Essentially what you’re doing is making a backup of the save folder that has the upgrades and weapons you want to replay the game with.

Second Step

  • Start the game.
  • Start a new game choosing your desired level of difficulty.
  • Wait for the chopper intro to finish.
  • As soon as you get control of your character’s movement, pause the game and alt+tab out of it DO NOT CLOSE THE GAME, simply alt+tab out of it.
  • Go to same folder from the first step, Documents/Singularity, you should now see a folder called RvGame plus the initial folder you changed the name of, during the first step of this guide.

Image/example:

  • Delete the RvGame folder and rename the RvGame END folder you renamed in the first step of the guide, to RvGame.

The end result should look like this:

  • Alt+tab back into the game and select Reload Checkpoint option in the pause menu.

You should now be able to press your melee button to create a shockwave with your glove, as you proceed you’ll get your weapons with all of your upgrades.
