Space Trash Scavenger – Tips to Survive the Increasing Attack Waves

I found out, totally by chance that being OFF the rig when the attack starts will increase your chances and reduce the fallout to a minimum.

Hints to Survive the Increasing Attack Waves

When you are off the rig, the entites focus mostly on you, the turrets can work with you and the damage to your rig stays minimal. In space you can also dodge better and you have a clear shot, not hindered by entities attacking from below, because you can see them by hovering on the horizontal edge of your rig in space.

Survived the last 2 entity waves with only minor hits and minimal damage to the rig.

You can also take out all enemies with just the mining gun as you aim for the eye for critical damage it does pretty much the exact same level of damage then so you can save your ammo with the other gun for using only when you need to clear out the generator nodes for jump fuel.

You eat the ammo so fast with the rile that its just not worth it to use for anything but the nodes at this current time I find.

Fun little tip for rig building

Put your important things further away from the Block you start on. That starting block is where they will try to attack and get at. I’ve flattened out the platform near by and reinforced that position with turrets and heavy blocks to great effect. When the battle warning comes I float over there and defend that space and the rest of my rig is left alone (saving me from storage explosions.) Its still hard but that strat has helped me cope with later levels a bit more effectively.
