SpiritVale – Priest Leveling Guide (1-50)

Acolyte Leveling Guide (Solo)

Ву Terrapin.

Character Setup

Prioritize your attributes in the following order:

  • Max INT first.
  • Invest remaining points into VIT.

Skill priorities:

  • Haste Lv. 1 as early as possible.
  • Holy Light Lv. 5.
  • Benediction Lv. 5.
  • Codex Mastery Lv. 10.
  • Heal Lv. 1.
  • Later, pick up Faith, Sacred Aegis Lv. 5, and Cure.

Before leaving town:

  • Speak with the Waybinder to obtain a Waystone.
  • Activate the town Waypoint.

General Equipment Priorities

Replace your starting Book with a Mace from the Chicks as soon as possible. Do not equip a shield. Using only a Mace activates Two-Handed Stance, granting +25% Magic Attack. Books cannot benefit from this bonus.

Prioritize equipment with:

  1. INT
  2. MATK%
  3. Cast Speed%
  4. VIT (if INT is unavailable)

Ignore artifact set bonuses early. Focus on strong individual stats instead.

Sunny Meadows

Equip a Mace immediately and remain in Two-Handed Stance. Look for equipment with INT and MATK%. Once you reach approximately 40 INT, move to the Forest Labyrinth.

Forest Labyrinth

Enemies should now die in a single hit. On the Bee map, you may optionally farm an Adventurer’s Kit (+1 All Stats). Continue through the maze until reaching the Cat Meow area.

Cat Meow Farm

Priority:

  • Benediction Lv. 5
  • Farm Cat Meows until obtaining:
    • Cat Meow Card (equip in Headgear)
    • Optional Drooping Cat
    • Amber Bow
    • Stoneguard

Focus Giant Cat Meows whenever they appear since they have increased drop rates. Once you obtain either the Card or Drooping Cat, continue onward. Check your gear before moving on and equip any upgrades with INT and MATK%.

Dog Pup Farm

Use Thunderbolt Lv. 2 from the Cat Meow Card.

Farm until obtaining:

  • Dog Pup Card
  • Optional Drooping Pup

Craft a Flame Spirit at the Craftsman and equip it for additional Magic Attack.

Continue investing Job Levels into:

  • Codex Mastery Lv. 10
  • Heal Lv. 1

Dog Bark Farm

Use Thunderbolt Lv. 2 until you obtain the Dog Bark Card.

This unlocks Fireball Lv. 2, one of the most important spells for leveling.

Fireball creates a Firewall where it lands, knocking enemies back and dealing additional damage.

Optional Burrow Farm

Optional rewards:

  • Burrow Card
  • Drooping Burrow (Earth Bolt Lv. 2)

Useful later but not required. Skip if farming takes too long.

Flower Pot Monster

These are the first aggressive enemies.

Use:

  • Fireball to knock enemies back.
  • Fire Bolt to finish them.

Farm until obtaining:

  • Flower Pot Monster Card
  • Witchsteps boots
  • Optional Amber Loops

Witchsteps remain valuable even in endgame.

Preferred stats:

  • INT
  • Cast Speed

Because these monsters naturally aggro, gather large groups before casting Fireball for efficient AoE farming.

Reach Haste Lv. 5 while leveling here.

The Flower Pot Monster Card unlocks Earth Spikes Lv. 2, creating your primary leveling combo:

  • Fireball
  • Earth Spikes

Activate the Mystic Lake Waypoint before continuing.

Recommended Farming Progression

Festering Woods (Easy)

Accessible by traveling east from Nevaris.

Important goals:

  • Craft Jack-o’-Lantern (Death Coil Lv. 3)
  • Craft Cheshire Cat (Shadow Strike Lv. 3)

Useful drops:

  • Scroll Charm (spell casts cannot be interrupted)
  • Gravestone Breaker
  • Skeleton Cards (Holy damage, useful later)

Faith significantly improves performance here. Gravestone Breaker is excellent against Shadow and Undead enemies, especially at +4 or +5.

Windy Desert (21–25)

Enemies are weak to Earth.

Use:

  • Fireball
  • Earth Spikes

Farm for:

  • Full Arcanum Artifact Set
  • Windroot Staff
  • Radiant Wand (best weapon upgrade in this stage)

Desired weapon stats:

  • INT
  • Damage Magic%
  • Cast Speed%
  • MATK%

Upgrade your weapon to approximately +4 or +5.

Mystic Lake (Moderate)

Enemies are weak to Lightning.

Against tougher enemies, weave Lightning Bolt Lv. 2 between your Fireball and Earth Spikes combo.

Important drops:

  • Shell Card (+10% Neutral Resistance in Leggings)
  • Glimmerthorn Staff
  • Posy Card (Ice Bolt Lv. 2)
  • Spike Card (Ice Shard Lv. 2)

Enemies frequently inflict Slow and Poison.

Counter them by:

  • Recasting Haste
  • Using Cure

Although Spellthread armor drops here, Stoneguard combined with Witchsteps is generally the stronger option.

Fairy Glen (Moderate)

Holy damage performs poorly here. If available, use Shadow Strike Lv. 3 from the Cheshire Cat.

Continue relying primarily on:

  • Fireball
  • Earth Spikes

Craft either:

  • Spooky Spell Hat
  • Forest Friend Hat

Both provide 10% bonus damage against many enemy types.

Useful drops:

  • Spellweaver Set
  • Butterfly Fairy Card (+15% Cast Speed, Chest)
  • Butterfly Pixie Card (+15% Cast Speed, Headgear)

Spellweaver is generally less valuable than Arcanum because raw spell damage scales better than Cast Speed at this stage.

Swamp (36–40)

Excellent leveling location. Continue using Fireball and Earth Spikes. Death Coil is effective against Poison enemies.

Notable drop:

  • Housefly Nom Card (+10 Critical Rate in Weapon)

This is an excellent place to reach Job Level 50.

Forgotten Depths (41–45)

This is where character optimization becomes important.

Recommended skills:

  • Sacred Aegis Lv. 5
  • Faith
  • Haste
  • Cure

Enemies move quickly and frequently inflict Slow and Poison. Earth Spikes becomes extremely valuable for crowd control.

Useful drop:

  • Witch’s Whisk

Upgrade it to +4 or +5 for additional INT and defensive bonuses.

Also keep:

  • Creeper Card (+8% Critical Damage in Weapon)

Forgotten Depths (46–50)

Same strategy as the previous area.

Notable future upgrades:

  • Skull Emblem (+20% Critical Rate)
  • Horror Card (+8% Critical Damage in Headgear)

Goblin Cave (51–55)

Most enemies are Undead.

Continue using:

  • Fireball
  • Earth Spikes
  • Sacred Aegis

Although Mass Heal damages Undead, it deals significantly less damage than your normal combo and is generally not worth using.

Watch for Zombie Goblin Giants using Stomp.

Important drop:

  • Arrowcatch Wall

This remains a valuable endgame shield.

Goblin Village (56–60)

Enemies become stronger and use more abilities.

Because they are Earth element:

  • Earth Spikes becomes less effective.
  • Fireball and Fire Bolt become your primary damage.

Slow fast Goblin Trooper Assassins with Earth Spikes.

Forest Friend Hat grants additional damage against these enemies.

Useful drops:

  • Vitalis Artifact Set
  • Goblin Trooper Mage Card (Free Cast Lv. 5)
  • Golden Aegis

Golden Aegis can gain Spell Reflect when refined and is useful against spellcasters.

Job Advancement

After reaching Job Level 50:

  1. Return to the Mystic Lake Waypoint.
  2. Travel south into Wayfarer’s Landing.
  3. Walk straight ahead to find the Priest Master.
  4. Complete your Job Change and continue your Priest progression.
