Begin the mini-game by talking to Charlie when he is in his home crafting.
Start by picking a spot adjacent to wherever Charlie picked. This will slow him down tremendously.

Begin creating a diamond shape on the opposite end of the board, like this in blue

If Charlie attempts to get close to your shape, close it ASAP for major points.

After closing your diamond, attempt to create as many more shapes as you can and win. Easy!
