How to Solve

Take the total of your current column, then modulus 10 it to get the results of the next step. 1st column is always 0 because there is no existing column.

  • Column 1: 0, 6, 9 = 15 = 5
  • Column 2: 7, 5, 8 = 20 = 0
  • Column 3: 8, 4, 0 = 12 = 2
  • Column 4: 5, 2, 9 = 16 = 6

Passcode for first 5 columns = 0, 5, 0, 2, 6

  1. answer for those who didn’t understand the explanation (translate into English if you don’t understand Portuguese)
    Ande até o 0 da primeira coluna, some os 3 números da coluna que vc está (fazer isso desdá primeira coluna que tem o numero 0 em diante), se a soma for maior que 10 você deve subtrair 10 do resultado da soma, se a soma for maior que 20 você deve subtrair 2 vezes o numero 10 e o resultado que sobrar será o próximo piso que terá que pisar, para a ultima situação, se ocorrer do numero ser menor do que 10 voce deve apenas somar os 3 números das colunas e o resultado será o proximo piso. EXEMPLO:
    qualquer coluna
    6+6+2= 14-10(regra)= 4 (esse é o próximo piso)
    9+9+6= 24-10-10= 4
    0+4+2= 6

  2. Why did you say “modulus 10” instead of just “divide by 10, answer is the remainder”? What is “modulus 10”?! We ain’t mathmaticians. Explain things simply.
