The save data for this game is located in:

• C:\Users(Your Name Here)\AppData\LocalLow\Konami Digital Entertainment Co_, Ltd_\SUPER BOMBERMAN R 2(Steam ID)

Here you’ll see a bunch of save files labeled to what they correspond to (i.e: StoryData, SystemData, etc)

Backup the entire folder and place it somewhere safe.

Starting Fresh and Save Data Loading

If you were to delete the save folder, everything like Story Data, currency, custom maps you’ve made, etc, will be gone and the game will treat you as a completely new player. Your online rank will still stay intact due to that data being stored on KONAMI’s servers instead of locally.

When you want to load your backup data, grab the files you saved and drag it back over where they were normally and you’ll have everything from when you made the backup.

Can you transfer your saves to a different PC or Steam Deck?

I don’t have the means of testing this myself, but theoretically yes? Unless KONAMI made it so only save data only works on the computer it was created from, it should work. The only thing I believe to be tied to a single computer is the online rank so you may have to start back at Bronze 5 even if you were to transfer your data.
