Synesthesia – 100% Achievements Guide + Walkthrough

A quick guide of how to obtain all achievements (also works as a walkthrough).

Introduction

Hello! Welcome. On this guide, you will find how to unlock all achievements + a small walkthrough.

• Throughout the game you must need to unlock certain ”Keys”, which are unlocked by reaching different character endings. These keys are needed to access more routes so consider them as previous requirements; therefore, you must follow a certain order of events sometimes.
• You must use the flowchart to change certain choices that will path new routes; you can click on any Story / Choice / Exploration Fragment to alter your selection, changing the story from that day forward.

Basic Achievements

Synesthesia Begins.
Your journey begins.

Start a new game and watch the prologue.

Chapter 1 Complete
You have successfully completed Chapter 1.

Chapter 2 Complete
You have successfully completed Chapter 2.

Chapter 3 Complete
You have successfully completed Chapter 3.

Complete Chapter 3 (Any route)

Story Achievements: Ms. Keller

Keller Mini-Route
Miss Keller’s Mini-route has been unlocked.

Previous Requirements: None

On Wednesday, April 25th, choose the second option given when prompted to make a choice.

Keller End
You reached the end of Miss Keller’s Mini-route.

Reach the end of Keller’s mini-route. From beginning to end, this route is visual-novel only so you don’t need to pick anything.

This will give you the Key #1 which will let you continue the rest of the story.

Story Achievements: Isla

Isla Route
Isla’s route has been unlocked.

If done correctly, Isla’s route should unlock on April 26th. However, a certain path should be followed in order to do so. Previous requirements are: Keller End

How to unlock Isla’s Route:

• On Wednesday, April 18th, go to the Arcade.
• On Tuesday, April 24th, if choices were correct, you will be forced to go to the arcade again.
• After getting Key #1 (Source: Ms Keller End), proceed through the events of Wednesday, April 25th again (use the flowchart to get back to ”Choice” fragment):
• Choose option 1. Institute -> Inside Building -> Far Hall -> Staff Pasage -> (Quick Choice) Pick option 2.
• Finally, if done correctly, on Thursday, April 26th Isla’s route should begin automatically. (You should be unlocking the achievement in the morning).

Space Apprentice
You got 30 kills on Space Enforcers.

Get 30 kills on Space Enforcers.

If you fail getting the 30 kills on your first run, you can retry as many times as you wish.

Space Master
Upon Isla’s testing, you got 50 kills on Space Enforcers (second scene).

On Saturday, April 28th, you must get 50 kills on Space Enforcers.

Isla End
Reach to the end of Isla’s route.

In order to get her ending, choose the second option when prompted to make a choice on Monday, April 30th.

This will give you Key #2 to unlock the True Route.

Isla Epilogue
You completed Isla’s Epilogue.

Go to ”extras” (which unlocks on the main menu after clearing the True Route). Therefore you will be able to watch Isla’s Epilogue. After watching the cutsene, you should get the achievement right away.

Story Achievements: Eris

Eris Route
Eris’ route has been unlocked.

If done correctly, Eris’ route should unlock on April 26th. However, a certain path should be followed in order to do so. Previous requirements are: Keller End

How to unlock Eris’ Route:

• On Wednesday, April 18th, go to Sharp’s Point -> Wharfside.
• On Tuesday, April 24th, if done correctly, you will be forced to go to Cheeky Dog Café.
• After getting Key #1 (Source: Ms Keller End), proceed through the events of Wednesday, April 25th again (use the flowchart to get back to ”Choice” fragment):
• Choose option 1. Institute -> Inside Building -> Far Hall -> Staff Pasage -> (Quick Choice) Pick option 2.
• If received the proper invitation, on Thursday, April 26th, Eris route should begin automatically. (You should be unlocking the achievement in the morning).

Eris End
You reached the end of Eris’ route.

Finish Eris’ route. As well as Miss Keller’s, Eris’ route is visual-novel only, therefore you won’t be required to make any choices.

This will give you Key #3 to unlock the True Route.

Eris Epilogue
You completed Eris’ Epilogue.

Go to ”extras” (which unlocks on the main menu after clearing the True Route). Therefore you will be able to watch Eris’ Epilogue. After watching the cutsene, you should get the achievement right away.

Story Achievements: True Route

True Route
True route has been unlocked.

Previous requirements are: Keller End (Key #1), Isla End (Key #2), Eris End (Key #3).

How to unlock True Route:

• On Thursday, April 26th, instead of locking in a character route as you’d normally do, you will be prompted to make a choice. Choose option 1.
• Therefore, the True Route shall commence.

True Ending
You reached the True Ending.

In order to get the True Ending, follow these steps:

• On Saturday, April 28th, during exploration segment, follow a certain path: Main Street -> Arcade -> Downtown – > Building (Synesthesia).
• Complete the puzzle. Answer: 745312
• On Monday, April 30th, when exploring, do the following: Click the poster on the middle -> Click on bottom left corner (Synesthesia) -> Click on Safe -> Input the PIN (Answer: 6839
• On Tuesday, May 1st, take this path: Sharp’s Point -> Click the Sky -> Main Street -> Inside -> Choose option 1 -> Inside -> Choose option 2 -> Far Hall -> Staff Passage -> Office -> Obtain the note and some gear.
• Where to find them Get the file ”Fusand Chamber” by clicking on the stack of papers on the left shelf (Check it on the ”tips” section) + Lastly, take the gear for Scuba-diving on the right corner and when prompted, choose option 1.
• Once you get equipped, solve the puzzle correctly.
• Hint: As stated, in order to pass the tunnel, you need to read the note again. Each letter represents one direction.
• Correct answer: ↓, ←, →, ↑, ←, ↑ or Down, Left, Right, Up, Left, Up
• Click on the computer -> Move forward -> Choose Option 2 -> Choose the only different option.
• If done everything correctly, you got the True Ending.

True Epilogue
You completed the True Epilogue.

Go to ”extras” (which unlocks on the main menu after clearing the True Route). Therefore you will be able to watch the remaining Epilogue. After watching the cutsene, you should get the achievement right away.

Other Endings

Bad End 1
You hit a bad end.

The first bad ending can get obtained on two different ocassions, both during the events of Wednesday, April 25th:

Choose option 1 without obtaining Key #1.

During Quick Choice, choose option 1.

Bad End 2
You hit a bad end.

The second bad ending can be unlocked during Isla’s route. On Monday, April 30th, choose option 1.

Bad End 3
You hit a bad end.

The third bad ending occurs during the True Route if you were to fail the puzzle on Tuesday, April 1st.

Resign End
You chose the Resign Ending.

The Resign ending can be obtained during the second last choice of the True Ending, on Tuesday, April 1st. Pick the first option. (”Go to Ayako!”)

Spiral End
You chose the Spiral Ending.

Same as above, The Spiral ending can be obtained when making the final choice of the same route on the same day. Choose any of the repeating options.
