The First Descendant – Jon “Traction Master” Lepic (3 Catalyst + Activator) Build

Quick Guide to Jon “Traction Master” Lepic Build

Build focuses on Traction Grenade and Close Call Passive for Farming, Defense, Mining and Infiltration Runs, you play as crowd controller.

Traction Grenade:

Having that much range to pull everyone to disable them. As much cooldown to get the skill available to set it again and wee bit of duration, because if you don’t have duration, the skill just ends and everyone falls off during the pull to the middle, having some duration gives time to get everyone to the middle and having a DPS take them all out in one go.

Close Call:

Drops the 10 min cooldown to around 2:40 mins.

Grenade:

More range, bit lower damage just for burn DOT.

Overkill:

Gets more range and duration but not as much damage, for burn DOT.

I haven’t tried with special mods because that would consider adding more catalysts also locking him to a specific build (I like the build variety) but this is as good as it gets.

Consider using special mods if adding more catalyst:

  • Regenerative Braking for Mana
  • Firearm Master for Range (no one said its too much range)
  • Power Unit Change for more damage

I only have focus on fusion now to maximize the cooldown precentage, but better go for focus on TECH if you get it.

Pros:

  • Very good crowd controller (all the DPS will love you).
  • You aim less (everyone shoots at the center of your traction grenade).
  • Farming is a breeze (I was able to maximize this for void shard solos as per video).

Cons:

  • You can’t deal much damage.
  • You rely on your weapon (since its already hard you got good weapons).
  • You need to run around for mana.

That concludes the guide, hope you found it helpful!
