The Killing Antidote – NG+ and How to Carry Over Weapons, Ammo & Items

How to Carry Over Weapons, Ammo, and Items in NG+

Items do not automatically carry over between playthroughs. To keep weapons, ammo, and other items for future playthroughs, you must use the Hyperbox.

Unlocking the Hyperbox

After completing your first playthrough, a door at the beginning of each chapter becomes accessible. This gives you access to the Hyperbox, where you can store weapons, ammo, and other items for use in future playthroughs.

If you have not stored any items or completed any Challenge Maps yet, the Hyperbox will be empty.

Storing Items From Story Chapters

Weapons, ammo, and other items obtained during story chapters must be manually placed inside the Hyperbox if you want to carry them into a future playthrough.

Before reaching the chapter’s ending screen:

  1. Access the Hyperbox.
  2. Place any weapons, ammo, or other items you want to keep inside it.
  3. Finish the chapter.

Anything you are still carrying when the chapter ends will not carry over.

Retrieving Stored Items

Items previously placed in the Hyperbox can be retrieved during future playthroughs.

Access the Hyperbox and take out the weapons, ammo, or other items you stored previously.

Challenge Map Rewards

Challenge Maps handle item carryover differently. After successfully completing a Challenge Map, the game automatically stores the rewards in the Hyperbox.

This can include:

  • Weapons
  • Ammo
  • Other earned items and rewards

You do not need to manually place Challenge Map rewards in the Hyperbox after completing the map.

Quick Summary

Story Chapters

Find the items → Place them in the Hyperbox → Finish the chapter → Retrieve them during another playthrough.

Challenge Maps

Complete the challenge → Rewards are automatically stored in the Hyperbox.

Remember:

  • Items you are carrying do not automatically carry over.
  • Items obtained in story chapters must be manually stored in the Hyperbox.
  • Challenge Map rewards are automatically stored.
  • Stored items can be retrieved during future playthroughs.
  • Anything not stored before the story chapter ends will not carry over.

If the Hyperbox is empty when you first unlock it, this is normal. Start storing items manually or complete Challenge Maps to add weapons, ammo, and other rewards.
