The Room Syndrome – How to Get All Endings in Order

This is how to get all the possible endings in order from 1 to 7. I spent way too much time playing with variables.

Forewarning

The only consistent with all endings is that if you stay in one timeline for too long, the train will come and will create a paradox. If you’re trying to get an escape ending, or one with Karis, this will pose a problem. To get rid of it, you must first approach the flickering Karis and interact with her. Only then will you be able to fix it. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes if there are no purple lines to access that timeline without the radio, you won’t be able to access that timeline again. I had to restart altogether. Assuming that you can get back to the real timeline and not just a black void, approach your own flickering image and touch it, fixing the paradox.

Most of the endings start out the exact same, so I would recommend going for 2 and 3 first as they’re the fastest, and saving before they differentiate, and then doing 1 and 4-7. All variables will be bold and underlined.

#1: Escape

  • Destroy the cardboard box
  • Turn on TV and pick a channel or leave it off, doesn’t matter what you choose, as long as all TVs are the same
  • Touch Side Table
  • Make the TV the same as the first one
  • Approach the chest and take the batteries
  • Destroy the box
  • Approach the Side Table and open the drawer
  • Put the batteries in the drawer
  • Touch the table again
  • Open the drawer
  • Take the batteries
  • Approach the radio and insert the batteries
  • Change the frequency to 89.9 with the bottom knob, needle will be just left of due east
  • Cross the purple line, doesn’t matter where
  • Approach the TV and make it the same as the rest
  • Cross the purple line again, doesn’t matter where
  • Approach the TV, turn it on, and turn it to your chosen channel, or leave it off, as long as it’s the same
  • Destroy the box
  • Touch the purple line by the bed
  • Go up and touch the purple line by the laundry basket
  • Make the TV the same
  • Stand on top of the pile of keys and take one
  • Approach the Side Table and open the drawer
  • Put the key inside
  • Approach the radio and turn the frequency to 88.2, needle will be just left of halfway between due west and northwest
  • Approach the Side table, open the drawer, and take the key
  • Approach the chest and examine the lock
  • Input the combination 1971, saving the 9 for last. I.e. Input the 1 in the first spot, skip the second, input the 7 in the third spot, the 1 in the last spot, then return to the second and input the 9
  • Set the key inside the chest
  • Approach the radio and change the frequency to 90.2, the needle will be a tiny bit left of northwest
  • Destroy the box
  • Make the TV the same
  • Touch the purple line
  • Make the TV the same
  • Touch the purple line
  • Destroy the box
  • Approach the TV from behind and make it the same
  • Walk towards the counter and cross the purple line
  • Destroy the box
  • Touch the purple line and return to the same spot to destroy the next box
  • Plug in the TV and make it the same
  • Approach the radio and flip the switch, leaving it on the same frequency
  • Walk through the purple lines towards the opposite side of the room until the line bisects the room lengthwise
  • Make the TV the same
  • Approach the radio and set the frequency to 97.3, the needle will be just right of due north
  • Destroy the box
  • Go back to the radio and change the frequency to 101.9, the needle will be a tiny bit left of halfway between due north and northeast
  • Destroy the box
  • Make the TV the same
  • Back to the radio, 106.4 this time, the needle will be about halfway between due west and northwest
  • Destroy the box
  • Radio again, 107.9, the needle will be exactly halfway between northeast and due east
  • Destroy the box
  • Radio, 98.0, needle is automatically in position, just give it a second
  • Pick up the key from the chest
  • Approach David and start a dialogue
  • Choose the “Escape?” dialogue option twice
  • Go to the door, insert the key, and go through
