Act 5: The Town
- Go to Graveyard
- Use key to unlock Gate
- Talk to Burkenhare and ask him about contacting him to receive a business card
- Pick up the herb on the way out of the graveyard at the grave on the right
- Go to the street
- Go to the pub
- Talk to the barkeeper and ask for a drink to find out about bar tabs
- Talk to karl and find out his favourite drink
- Go to the booth
- Talk to the countess and ask for her help to receive a ring
- Ask the countess if she has a tab to receive her tab number
- Go to the pub
- Ask the barkeeper for a drink to find out there is only 1 item in stock (karl takes it when you don’t want it)
- Go to the street
- Use the ring on the toy shop window to steal the toy cat
- Combine the toy cat and the herb to create a drugged toy cat
- Go to the stable
- Pick up the guano (niter)
- Pick up the sign
- Go to the street
- Break a piece of willow wood from the crate in the street
- Head to the blacksmith
- Pick up the Flux (sal ammoniac) from the box on side
- Pick up the wrench
- Use the “business card” on the bellows to inflate it
- Go to the street
- Go to the Town Square
- Go to the Barber shop
- Take the bonesaw from the barber shop
- Use the drugged toy cat on the hole in the door
- The cat will come by and “play with” the toy cat. Leaving behind some fur
- Check the door for the cat fur
- Talk to the invisible lady about her pain
- Give the invisible lady some willow wood in exchange for her absinthe
- Go to the Town Square
- Go to the village gate
- Use the sign on the wall
- Talk to the guards and tell them they are loitering
- Get “the book” thrown at you and pick it up
- Pick up the loose cobble from the corner of the wall (lower right)
- Go to the town square
- Go to the town hall
- Grab the clapper from the bell on the reception desk
- Grab the patent from desk
- Inspect the posters on the wall for clues
- Go to the town square
- Go to the street
- Go to the graveyard
- Use the clapper on the grave with a bell
- Ring the bell to summon the bureaucrat’s ghost
- Ask the ghost how to get an audience with the mayor
- Make a note of the clues to where each door is (up-right, left-up, all options) or ask Brian later
- Show the law book to Burkenhare
- Burkenhare digs up the horse
- Transition to the stable
- Pick up the horse guts / glue
- Go to the street
- Go to the town square
- Go to the town hall reception
- Go to the corridors
- Go right to the corridor with an exit “left” and “up”
- Use the door with the plaque reading “F83” (left door)
- In the new room use the door with the plaque reading “C62” (middle door)
- In the new room use the door with the plaque reading “S73” (left door)
- You will arrive at the mayor’s door
- Take the plaque from the door
- Inspect the keyhole
- Observe the mayor in his office
- Transition to the graveyard via cutscene
- Use the bonesaw on Mark to remove Brian
- Pick up the spade
- Go to the street
- Go to the town square
- Go to the village gate
- Use spade on the box on the wall to reveal the valve
- Pick up the iron sulphate (green vitriol) that falls on the floor
- Use the wrench to turn the valve to reactivate the fountain
- Go to the town square
- Use the cobble in the fountain to produce a “wet” stone
- Search the bins to get the rusty tin snips
- Use the “whet” stone on the rusty tin snips
- Go to the street
- Go to the blacksmith
- Use the tin snips on the wire spool to snip some wire
- Go to the street
- Go to the pub
- Give the absinthe to the bartender
- Order an absinthe from the bartender
- Use the leeches on drunk Karl to get blood filled leeches
- Pick up Karl’s cup from the floor
- Use goop on cup
- Use sticky cup on bar stool
- Add the Green Vitriol (iron sulphate) to the bar stool/centrifuge
- Add the Niter (Guano) to the bar stool/centrifuge
- The bar stool will act as a centrifuge to produce Aqua Forte
- Go to the street
- Go to the Town Square
- Add the nitric acid (aqua forte) to the Running fountain
- Add the Flux (Sal ammoniac) to the Running fountain
- Receive the Aqua Regis
- Go to the street
- Go to the Blacksmiths
- Add the aqua regis to the furnace
- Add the gold mayor’s plaque to the furnace
- Receive the Aqua Vitae
- Go to the stable
- Use the inflated bladder on the hearse wheel
- Use the goop on the wheel
- Use the cat fur on the wheel
- Add the wire to the horse or hearse wheel to connect them
- Add the blood filled leeches to the dead horse
- Add the Aqua Vitae to the dead horse
- Add Brian to the dead horse
- Spin the wheel to produce electricity and animate the dead horse (maybe the hearse has springs sticking out like tesla coils ?)
- The horse will be “re-animated”
- CUT SCENE
Finale: Secret Lab
- Start in a cage hanging in the air with Brian
- Pull the pin above your head to drop the cage
- Land In Lab North
- Attempt to use hand scanner (n)
- Take funnel from generator (n)
- take oil can from generator (n)
- Go Left to Lab East
- Oil the armour
- Pick up the helmet
- Push the armour to chop the pipe
- Use the funnel on the broken pipe
- Use the funnel to tell Hide to check the vats
- Tell Brian to move right
- Go Left to Lab West
- Use helmet on vat tap (s)
- Pick up the spanner
- Go right to Lab East
- Tell hide to try on the helmet
- Go right to Lab North
- Ask Brian to go right
- Use spanner on generator (n)
- Go right to Lab West
- Use bucket on inlet of machine
- Ask Brian to put on helmet
- Press the button on the machine
- Swap the brains
- Go right to Lab South
- Tell Hide (Brian) to go left
- Go left to Lab West
- Tell Hide (Brian) to go left
