How to crack any city with 3 rams

Playing as Turkey, there are alot of city fights in the first few turns with very limited forces and ive learned how to crack any city with 3 rams.

Simply line up a ram on all 3 city doors, but pull them back a bit, not too much, but definately out of range of any archers. What happens, is the entire enemy force will deploy in the city centre, giving all 3 of your rams plenty of time to reach their door.

With using 3 rams, the ai splits their force into 3 small parts and makes a dash for each door.

Put some forces you wont be using in the battle (horse archers for example) near a door you wont be coming through and the majority of enemy units will make a scramble for that door, then simple run your spearmen archers and generals body guard in the door you do want to come through fight the couple of units.

They sent your way and route them as quickly as possible, then man the walls looking in with archers, and pop your spearmen on the road to the town square, the ai will return back to the town square, then come at you piecemeal. Allowing you to win huge city fights with small forces and limited losses.

Jihad

If you are playing Turkey and the mongols show up, delcare a jihad you can 100% pull off in 10 turns. Then put all your armies in all the citys the mongols are near into the jihad, and put them back in their city.

The mongols cant target a jihad. And will simply leave your territory.

Use then use the jihad armies to block access to your cities by standing them on bridges or narrow passes and guide the mongols out of your territory.

When the jihad ends, you will have loads of armies near the mongols and will be able to do some serious damage to them, or even end them.
