How to Obtain Iron Lungs Achievement

What You Will Need
- One Drowner’s Apparatus.
- One Cruel Aegis.
- Full Health.
How to Do It
Once you have everything you need, go to The Priory (the level on the cliff overlooking the weird church thing in Mourningvale) then go to the first waterhole you find.
If you don’t have a Breather’s Apparatus, there should be one in the waterhole.
Use the apparatus first, then let yourself drop down to around 8 or so HP from drowning, then use the Cruel Aegis to last a few more seconds. The achievement should then be given to you! You will die, however.

This setting applies specifically to the Crystallizer weapon.
It makes the beams from it slightly curve towards enemies, they look a bit better.
How to start game in Outlander difficulty
Outlander difficulty needs to be unlocked by finishing the game once on Normal or above.
I don’t know how to unlock it externallym but you can hit Shift + Esc in console and put skill 3 for ‘nightmare:
- skill 0 = easy
- skill 1 = normal
- skill 2 = hard
- skill 3 = nightmare/outlander
Not sure if saving after doing this will save the difficulty.
How to invert y pitch on a controller
Turning sensitivity negative will invert it. You can also change it in steams controller settings.
Two apparatuses back to back with some drowning beforehand and in-between does the job. No deaths, no Aegises.
